Super friendly and helpful gentleman in the office at check in. We are traveling from Auckland to Queenstown and chose this overnight stay for its kitchenette as we prefer cooking to eating in restaurants. We were limited to dinner choices as we could only locate one smallish pot.
A couple of little glitches…1. When I pushed the stove vent button to turn off the light, both vent covers fell onto the stove top. They were pretty oily and I couldn’t get them back into place; 2. The dryer would not work unless you held the door in place. My husband eventually figured out that the low contact was loose and we used a kitchen utensil to wedge it in place; and 3. The beds were not very comfortable as we also saw noted in the guest book.
Overall we found the chalet very clean. I always like to mention great showers and this was exceptional.
Recommend this stay but be sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
As a general note, we have had to “air out” 2 of the 4 vrbo’s we have stayed at so far due to an excessive amount of scented sprays or scented diffusers.
