"The cabin is cozy and nestled away for privacy. The cabin was extremely clean. All the kitchen and bathroom items needed are provided, just in case you forgot something. The cabin had great hot water, super fast wifi, great tv, and a view hiking trails close by on the property. We had our German Shepherd Dog with us, so large dogs are allowed, which is a big plus, while other places sometimes have weight limits on our four legged family members. "We spent Easter Weekend at Cane River Cabin and it was fantastic. The property was absolutely beautiful with the river running right thru the backyard. "From the moment we arrived Hans the host welcomed us and gave us a quick overview of Maybelline. Even though Maybelline is technically off grid, everything you need is there. The sound of the rushing water lulled us to sleep each night and the sun peaking in from the mountains behind us was a lovely way to wake up each morning. It's a beautiful and serene space with plenty to explore close by. I booked my stay for the first week in April because I was attending a class in Weaverville that week....

There were extra amenities like snacks, toiletries and other items we've normally always brought ourselves to rentals. "Overall I had a really positive experience. The property manager was always extremely prompt with responses. If you are going to stay here, be warned that it is a tiny home, so I wouldn't recommend bringing multiple large dogs. Be warned, if you are planning on using a mirror, the only one is located above the couch, so you have to do some climbing to use it.
