"Spotlessly clean, fabulous hosts and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Reading past reviews I was shocked at mentions of the floors being cold. It's an 18th century cellar for goodness sake!!! Stone floors are part of the charm. It is cosy and warm at this time of year (and I imagine lovely and cool in the summer).I would definitely stay again for its location, its cleanliness and its hosts. Can't fault it except for the mattress, which is a bit "argos" and could do with a good...

"Set in beautiful surroundings with lots of walks on your doorstep and two local dog friendly pubs that serve food. The owners are lovely and helpful in person and replied to our messages very quickly before we came. The accommodation is very clean and really cosy, dog friendly being a plus. Will definitely visit again this summer."

"Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at the old garage, very clean very homely and very modern, everything you could need for a break away, we did find the bed a little on the hard side but everyone has different comfort level with that, shower was amazing, host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed on arrival, would definitely stay again if we were in the area! "I booked one nights stay as my daughter and I were at Badminton Horse Trials. I had not researched the location before going so was amazed to enter the beautiful village of Lacock. The whole place is unique and the property is so beautiful. We were met by our hosts Rufus and his wife and they could not have been more welcoming.
