"Very cute cottage with a fire pit in the backyard! Quite neighborhood and a short walk from the historical train station. Was perfect for our stay, as my brother lives a few miles away and had a houseful for my nephew's wedding. If we need to stay again, we will be sure to reserve again! Thank you! "

"We had a great stay in this cottage. It was perfect for 2 people. They had supplies you always forget to pack including shampoo/conditioner! The best part was having good coffee from a keurig!! It was hands down much better than a hotel and waking up in the wooded area and seeing deers in the morning was so great! Communication was quick with owners as well! Thank you!! If we are ever in that area again, I would absolutely stay again. 🙂"

"Elkins is halfway between our home and my parents' home, so we met up for a quick weekend visit. The house was clean and comfortable. The game room was great and provided an outlet for our teenager to enjoy time with parents and grandparents. We plan to return again."

"While there are other houses visible, this property was extremely quiet and relaxing. Great location, "civilization" easily accessible...just a short drive. Hope to stay again when we're more physically mobile (one broken back and one broken leg... hopefully we'll be fully recovered soon). Plenty of historic sites nearby."

"We had an absolutely amazing stay at Trout Pond! From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, the experience is wonderful. The home is beautifully renovated while still keeping its cozy cottage charm. The lights leading to the dock make the whole area feel truly magical. It’s the perfect spot to relax, yet still close to so many great things to do.The real highlight, though, wasn’t just the house, it was the lovely Allen Trout.
