Cozy holiday house close to nature in Ödeshög, Gränna

In this newly built holiday home, you live close to both lake and forest with only 20 minutes from cozy Gränna and Ödeshög is only 10 minutes by car. Enjoy this holiday home regardless of the season! In the forest next door, you can pick berries and mushrooms. In this house, the dogs can also come along. So take the opportunity to take a walk down to the lake or a forest walk with the dogs. There is a small terrace outside the house with a ramp if you have a pram or wheelchair, so it is easy to get to the terrace.

Are you a large family or want to holiday with friends and relatives, you can book the house next to SE10006. There is a common barbecue area by the houses. If the children want to play in the sandbox, it is also close by. The house has a heat pump, so you have it warm and comfortable and then cool in the summer when it is possible to switch to air-conditioning. The living room has a double bed. In the loft there are 3 single beds. Usually appreciated by children to sleep in the attic and climb up to their bed. Things to see and do in Ödeshög / Gränna and the surrounding area
It is 3 km to a lake called Visjö where you can rent a boat, fish and swim. In the forest there are deer, elk and wild boar. If you want to play golf, it is only 10 km to Ombergs Golf and Resort. Paddle courts are also nearby.

At Omberg there are activities all year round. In winter you can ski on the ski slope Ombergliden. There are several barbecue areas around. Then book a sports holiday or a mini vacation. In summer there are many nice hiking trails and mountain bike trails. If you want a little adventure, you can get a guided climb at Ombergs Zipline that goes through the beech forest. Naturum and Tåkern are popular excursion destinations. Ellen Key Beach is close to Omberg. Also, worth a visit are Rökstenen in Ödeshög, Alvastra monastery ruins and Rödgavel's cave

You are also close to Motala with the Nordic region's largest lake bath Varamon with the half-mile long sandy beach with several restaurants next to beautiful Lake Vättern. There is also adventure mini golf. Only 10 minutes from Motala you come to Vadstena with the castle and Vadstena Klosterkyrka. There are cozy alleys and cozy places to have coffee. Some days they have nostalgia nights with old cars and live music.

If you want to swim, you should visit Vätterviksbadet just 5 minutes from the city. There is also a sandy beach. There is a restaurant overlooking Lake Vättern. They have live performances several times a week in high season.

Something you do not want to miss is Gränna with polka dot making. There are lots of small shops where you can look at when they make candy canes. Take the boat over to Visingsö and ride a horse and carriage around the island. If you want to look out over Gränna, you should visit Grännaberget with a magical view of Lake Vättern. They are known for their good and big shrimp sandwiches. There are shopping centers in Jönköping and Linköping where you have a large selection of shops.
