"Ocracoke in the early spring is always a treat and this visit did not disappoint. Red Beard's Retreat is a little gem one block off Hwy 12 across from the village Variety store. Our unit was comfortably furnished and check-in was seamless. We had everything we needed and the housekeeper, Maria, lived upstairs and was always available to answer any questions we had. Derek has all the kitchen equipment and gadgets you could need and the only minor issue we had was remedied in a couple of hours and was probably on our party to begin with. great neighborhood, great location, awesome place!!"

The tenant above us was super loud all night. However, that is not on the property manager. Just inconsiderate tenants. Overall, we really liked this property and would recommend it to others."
