The house itself is comfortable and had plenty of room for the six of us. The main thing to keep in mind with a group of that size is that there is one bathroom, but that’s fine as long as you coordinate :-). The kitchen was well-equipped and had plenty of basic supplies, as well as some extra things that were handy such as a coffee machine and toastie maker....

"There were 7 of us staying to attend a wedding and we all had a great time. Beds were comfortable and plenty of warm blankets. Wood provided for the fires - which was needed as it was a cold in the evenings. Sunday morning the ladies sat out on the veranda with morning coffee/tea whilst the men slept in. Kitchen was well equipped. Stunning views and surrounding property. Only downfall is not really 2 bathrooms - 2 showers, (1 in the bath & one stand alone) one toilet inside and another outside...

"Waringa Downs was a gloriously generous home amongst the rolling hills with the most spectacular sunsets. We spotted roos and possums at night on the property and enjoyed the fresh country air. Perfectly positioned to enjoy Mayfield Gardens, fossicking in Oberon and walks through the State Forests. The kids loved the maze at Mayfield Gardens and we all thoroughly enjoyed this comfortable home as our base. We will be back if we get around to another country break!"
