Host was good but king bdrm 1 and 2 are only separated by a sliding frosted glass door. No privacy. Little patio area very nice for dogs

Amazing place on the beach

Awesome stay right on the beach!

We brought our daughter-in-law to see the beach one last time before cancer claims her. She loved lying on the sofa sleeper facing the beach, with the wall opened up to see and hear the ocean! Our grandson slept there with the wall open! We all loved the view and ocean sounds! Great sunsets! Great communication with the host! The elevator and two parking spaces were also much appreciated! Very spacious and comfortable! We want to come back on a yearly basis!

The Strand

The condo was exactly what we needed. The view and the proximity to all local amenities was awesome. The beds, and linens were great which isn't always the case in rentals. The only downsize was the furniture, it wasn't comfortable at all, the couch sunk in the middle and the chairs were just uncomfortable to sit in. When we arrived, we went upstairs to check out the hot tub it wasn't on plus we had to fill it with water. Our last night we went up to enjoy the hot tub and the cover was missing and the water was only at 79degrees so couldn't use it. The good outweighed the bed so i would defiantly stay again but hopefully they will get new furniture.

End of Summer Vacay

I don't usually take the time to post a review because I am not usually THAT impressed or plan on returning. Me and my crew get a beach rental at least once every summer and have done so for the past few years. This is the first one I will absolutely rent again. The en suite with every bedroom was wonderful. The view, proximity and access to the beach and location cannot be beat. Having an assigned parking spot that was easily accessible was great. I only had to contact the property manager once about an alarm that had been going off since 3 am. I got an immediate message back about it being addressed; however when we left the following day at 5 pm, the alarm was still going off. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay and do plan on returning to this location.

Location and view the best

What a treat to stay on the strand with beach and ocean views. The accordion doors open almost the full width of the unit which allows you to enjoy the sweeping views in the comfort of the living area. Since we had a 20 month old and a 7 week old, we stayed in the unit more than usual. It was great to have the open floor plan as well as the view to enjoy while they were napping. This third floor unit has comfortable beds, nice bathroom in each room, nice kitchen and island. There is an elevator which is quite helpful and underground parking for two cars. Negatives were; the couch is quite caved in at the center, area rug was curled up at the end which made you trip, two dogs were staying in the unit next to us and every time we walked near the patio they barked at us. They also barked at people and dogs below. There is only a small glass divider between the units. It was very unpleasant. Not sure what the company can do about this, other than not allowing dogs. You might want to ask if there will be dogs staying next to you during your stay. Overall, the place is really nice for it's location, being across the one lane road from the beach, and fantastic view.

Overpriced

The location was everything. Front view was fantastic looking directly at the ocean. After that everything else was average at best. All bedroom views were roof tops or obscure glass. Squeaky doors, running children and cycling heating/ ac units made for some interesting nights of sleep. We were comfortable, but the sofa and chairs could use updating. The management team was very responsive. I would not rent this unit again

Dont mess with a good thing- Yearly Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fourth year staying at this property. It works perfectly for our family. The best beach access, beautiful views and awesome amenities. A few negatives: rooftop hot tub must of had a leak, it didn't stay full even after the very prompt service call. Some of the appliances are old and don't function well; toaster, coffee pot (get a Keurig,already). Used to provide DVD player and garage gate remote and no longer do which was just a minor inconvenience.The old hide a bed was comfortable, but the new futon was cheap and not comfortable and no longer a queen sleeper.These are all just knit picky things. Our stay was still very enjoyable

Perfect Gathering Space

We rented 3 of the 4 units, which allowed for a bit more separation between floors for those with young kids and on different schedules due to time zone changes. The kitchen area was large enough to all gather for meals and we loved enjoying the rooftop firepit in the evenings. Couldn't beat the convenience of the underground parking garage either! Would definitely recommend to friends and come back to stay again. Beautiful view, well stocked kitchen, and enough room for the kids to play in the living room or a back bedroom without feeling like we were on top of each other.

Great Beach Vacation

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this house. We are a large group of 12 and it is perfect for us. The beach access is perfect, the home is well kept and convenient. The manager was very responsive to any needs we had. We have loved it both times we have stayed.

The location is absolutely fantastic, but the city of Oceanside did not bring in sand so there was tons of rocks which was quite disappointing. This was what we loved about this beach and condo. Just walk across the street to amazing white sand and waves. The rocks definitely made it more challenging to boogie board etc. Of course this wasn't the fault of the condo. The condo is still quite clean, but it seems as though the drawers in the kitchen were quite empty. I don't think they keep up with stocking it after things disappear. The sofa was kind of broken down, and the little fire pit on the deck had noGlass and hot rocks started flying. I will say that now that Beachfront texts you and asks you to text them, they reply immediately and are very responsive. We have always thought they could really use a place outside Of the units to wash your feet after going to the beach. We also missed the umbrellas they used to have on the rooftop area. All in all though this condo is just gorgeous and has an awesome location as you only have to cross the street to get to the beach and the views are amazing with the big doors that open completely. We will definitely stay again.

Perfect for families

Our stay was amazing, this property is beautiful, comfortable. We enjoyed the whole time. Check in was easy. They could have had more forks only 4, so we had to run out and get more, but other than that it was great!

We have a great time here with our family celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. The condo was very spacious for us and the beach was just across the street. Our first night the smoke detectors went off in the house condo at 1:30AM (loud ear piercing sound) woke up our kids and everyone in the condo. The property manager told us to take out all the detectors to stop the sound. Thank goodness we had guys with us to do this. This was not a great way to start out our vacation. Unfortunately our stay ended badly as well, with 5 of us getting Hot Tub rash (Folliculitis) and two of us getting it really bad. Not only was it worrisome, painful, horrible to look at , but we incurred Doctor fee for trying to find out a diagnosis. So if you stay here, be mindful of the hot tub.

Lovely getaway

Beautiful and convenient location off The Strand in Oceanside. Just a 15min drive to Carlsbad Flower fields and Outlets and a 4 min drive the harbor for whale watching. Loved that each bedroom had it's own bathroom and the updated kitchen contained everything needed for cooking/dining. Of course, the highlight is the beachfront balcony which was such a delight to wake up to every morning

Fantastic Beach House

Great location and family friendly property. The rooftop hot tub was broken for the length of our stay, but the management company did send someone out to try to fix it. Overall, we would choose to stay here again.

Absolutely Perfect Beach Stay

Reviewer Comments: I had the incredible pleasure of bring my family to this unit to celebrate my parent's 50th Anniversary since we couldn't throw them a big party (thanks COVID), but it was exactly what we needed - a complete escape with pristine accommodations and a spectacular view that made us forget we were in a pandemic at all. Housekeeping had everything **** and span and extra sanitized and the unit was equipped with everything we needed to cook in for every meal over 3 days. I loved it so much I extended my stay for another day!Everyone was super responsive and professional and attentive to our requests and/or questions. I plan on booking another trip in the future for sure.
