Perfect penthouse

The whole property was beautiful. The condo had everything anyone could possibly need! Loved the canopy bed outside. Even the train horns were pleasant! Will stay here again!

Beautiful place

Wonderful, well stocked property, lots of room to spread out for our big family, amazing rooftop patio! Beautifully updated renos and decor. Only negative was that both of the bathtubs need some repair or replacement as there is damage to both.

Relaxing and comfortable condo

B306 is a very nice condo with a beautiful ocean view from the top balcony. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella supplied in the unit. We would definitely recommend this condo!

Perfect Place

Extremely happy with our stay here. NCV itself is stunning and the amenities put it over the top. Our condo made it a perfect stay. "Penthouse" bedroom (as our kids called it) upstairs & good sized extra bedroom downstairs. Perfect way to spread out family & guests. The rooftop view is stunning - with room for all. Condo was stocked with adequate cooking supplies, a dishwasher, beach going necessities (including a wagon🙌🏻), beds were nice & decor is cute & comfy. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Good place great location no ac

This was a great place that has a great fun location. But just don't stay there during the hottest week of the summer there is no air conditioning it was uninhabitable from 11 am to 7 pm had fan to bring out but was so hot so plan Accordingly.

Endless Summer

This place was AMAZING! We stayed for 5 days with our 8 and 11 year old. There was EVERYTHING we needed, from beach towels to beach toys for the kids and an air fryer for the boyfriend 😆 The place was immaculate when we walked in! The upstairs King size bed was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on and the view of the ocean was unreal! I highly recommend staying here. We had to switch condos at the last minute and On The Sand was so great to accommodate all of our last minute needs! Already booked the place for next year!

Relaxing Stay

Property is very comfortable! We enjoyed the amenities at the property and walking to local spots. The view and ocean sounds from the master bedroom were very relaxing! We enjoyed our Spring Break as a family with teenagers and a younger child with something for everyone. Having a beach wagon with everything you need was very convenient. The gym, pool & hot tub were nice & the complex grounds were beautiful. We already want to book our next stay.

Excellent!

The perfect place to stay close to everything you need! Walking distance to the beach, the house has all the anemities to access the beach (wagon, chairs, umbrella, towels). Close to supermarkets and restaurants! Close driving distance to Legoland, Del Mar, Carlsbad, and 40 min from SD airport! Home was as described, included a designated parking space with closed gate access. Felt safe and secure!

Family Getaway

Very impressed with the resort. There is so much to do and not enough time to do everything. The gym was excellent and clean. The beach is absolutely amazing, smooth sandy beach with clear/warm water. The condo was very comfy and provided everything we needed. Appreciate the number of fans available as it was very muggy first couple days! Enough room to accommodate our adult family of 5 comfortably. Would love to come back!

Perfect for Families

Wow. Just wow. I visited with my 4 children ages 9-13. Beautiful grounds and so much to do in the area. I have stayed at oodles of resorts with my children and for the price this one has been my very favorite. If it’s a little chilly just rent wetsuits and your kids will spend hours playing in the ocean waves and sand. The rental had a great sand wagon, 3 buggie boards, sand toys, games and even play blocks! The outdoor penthouse area was AWESOME. Great view. We did legoland and the Zoo but honestly the kids loved playing with the provided toys in the ocean the very most. We will definitely be back!

Great stay

Great stay! Condo was well equipped, beds were sooooooo comfy! The grounds of the complex were pretty. Only a few negatives but they weren’t enough to ruin our time. The key system is a pain, it would be much nicer to have a card like hotels or a code We did find a dirty facecloth at check in hanging from the shower curtain. Also in suite laundry would be nice. Overall it was a great stay. Thanks for having us

Just what I needed!

Our stay in B306 was perfect! It had everything we needed for cooking and all the comforts of home. We spent every morning walking on the beach, which was clean and quiet since it was off season. Late in the afternoons we explored fun happy hour spots with fresh seafood appetizers. Just walking around the complex was beautiful with all the gardens in bloom. Loved that we never had to drive anywhere once we arrived. The Coaster was about a 20 minute walk to the station and $5 got us to San Diego for the ballgame! Easy peasy! We will definitely come again!

Great unit! Great location!

First off, we have rented in this complex for years and have had a wide variety of units. It is a really great location on the beach, with a great hot tub, heated pool fitness center, game room, putting course and beautiful grounds. It is perfect for our family since we can get there and let our girls do what they want. It is right across the bay with a quick walk over the bridge from the nautical bean for our morning coffee and several restaurants that are close for dinner. If you walk down the beach, "the Strand' it is a hopping pathway with bikes and scooters and walkers that is only a mile from the pier which then leads into the heart of Oceanside with tons of great restaurants small business shops and more. I have to admit, I was a little disappointed when we got there because it is in the unit furthest away from the ocean but it has surprisingly GREAT view! The top floor which is really like the 4th floor of the unit, has a wonderful patio with a daybed and seating and we spent lots of time just enjoying the sunsets, reading and listening to the waves. Its also nice because the upstairs is a large lounge style bedroom with a couch and tv so its not awkward to have the other guests come up to enjoy the patio. This unit is crazy well furnished. Need a blender, there is a brand new one...need an air fryer?!?! They have it. the furnishings are really clean and modern and definitely elevated from a standard rental. There are lots of extra blankets, pillows, towels (including separate beach towels)The TVs are smart so you can watch all of your streaming channels, good wifi and even furniture that has usb ports for chargers. We have two teen girls and we always like to have a separate room with separate beds for them and the guest room is very spacious with smart tv, fans and lovely main floor bathroom. With the upstairs and the main living room everyone can have their own space. As far as temperature, we always go for Thanksgiving to it is on the chilly side. There are wall heaters and a fireplace which put out plenty of heat. We have not been here in the summer so we don't know how it is when it is hot out. We will definitely rent this unit again!

Great location - Wonderful Room

Our experience was heavily impacted by a massive heat wave that made this the hottest week of the year. The roof-top patio looked beautiful but we could only use it for brief portions of the day. That space is lined with solar-panels (which we wish were in the profile pictures so we were no surprised by the view) so you can imagine how hot it got. The kitchen was wonderful. Closet has all kinds of great beach gear Wi-Fi worked great. We got a great breeze at night. The proximity to restaurants downtown is also a great feature. We spent a good bit of our time saying, “when we come back and it’s not so hit, we will really enjoy…” parking was easy. Pool was beautiful. Security was clearly present and very polite. All the things that usually disappoint me in trips were positives on this one.

Would love to come back!

We had a great time! Loved all the beach equipment and wish I got to spend more time on the upstairs balcony enjoying the ocean views at sunset! it’s breathtaking! Overall great stay, wish there were more spices/seasonings included but space is limited in kitchen cabinets so probably not realistic.

So Relaxing!

We hated to leave this perfect place! The condo is clean and comfortable with everything you need to relax and enjoy Oceanside. Our kids were so sad to leave. The location was great for beach, pier and harbor access. It was also convenient to use the Coaster train to get into and out of San Diego and the surrounding area.

Clean, Comfortable, Beautiful.

We had a wonderful four-night stay and everyone wished we could have stayed longer. It was a perfectly relaxing visit. We loved the proximity to the beach and downtown Oceanside, and we especially enjoyed the comfy king bed and the ocean view balcony. I already miss watching the surfers with my morning coffee. We can’t wait to come back.
