This is a very nice house in a great location - walking distance to the beach and downtown Oceanside. Bedrooms and bathrooms are arranged well. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need. There were no garage remotes when we checked in, and the property manager brought two openers promptly.

Wonderful Mothers day vacation

Everything is wonderful more than what we expected very beautiful home. There is plenty of room for everyone. Quiet area close to beaches and downtown. Thursday downtown market was great, and only 3 blocks away.

Enough space but lots of problems

Property had plenty of space for our group. Once you’ve had a minute to look around, that when it starts to fall apart. The couches are literally falling apart and filthy stained. The floors are so disgustingly filthy your feet and socks. Turned black within 10 minutes. The outdoor chairs are torn up and several unusable. The dishwasher doesn’t actually clean the dishes. There was mold in shower caulk lines, DO NOT cook in the nasty pans - very poor condition.

Oceanside

Very close toPappys so we could stop and get soda and ice for our all day at the beach. Walking distance to so many places and a Starbucks around the corner. Plenty of bathrooms. Quiet little neighborhood.

Great quick stay with family from out of town.

Overall we had a great stay! Had an issue with the hot water the first day as the water never got past room temperature. After some misinformation from the "chat" we were able to get ahold of customer service and get the local caretaker who was able to come over and reset the tank. That seemed to take care of the issue. Juts one thing stood out and that was the person on the other side of the chat stated that "Hot water was not an amenity" at this property. Pretty sure it was just a misunderstanding but the owner may want to address what's considered basic needs vs. what is considered an amenty. We would stay there again!

Not worth the price. Stay was a huge disappointment. Terrible customer service.

Our overall experience was terrible. We were not given a garage door opener and the main door wouldn't lock using the Schlage button. It was a challenge to lock the home and exit. Customer Service did not help much besides the usual "We are extremely sorry about this..." messages. Some of the ceiling fan pull strings were either missing or short in length. Furniture/cupboards were dusty. 3rd-floor toilet was not flushing well. The Master bathroom sink was not draining properly. Overall we were extremely disappointed with the stay. VRBO will not be my first choice moving forward.

Family Visit

Great house. Visiting family in Oceanside. House was perfect. Great location to beach and downtown area restaurants. The house also had chairs and all things we needed to spend an afternoon on the beach. The house itself was clean and just as described. Great common areas and also plenty of room to spread out.

Great House

Great house. Great location. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Awesome bonus was not having to bring beach towels, beach chairs and toys. House could use a little TLC (carpet cleaning and painting) but the house was very clean.

Great beach house!

We absolutely loved our stay! The walk to the beach is about 7 minutes which is a huge plus! The home was clean and we didn’t feel concerned about Covid. The kitchen could use some updates as far as necessities. There’s no pot holders/oven mits, nor hands towels and some silverware had obviously seen the garbage disposal. The house has newer carpet which is nice expect for the 3rd story where it has quite a few stains. However none of this was a deal breaker for us! It’s a beautiful home with plenty of space and a great location! This was actually our second time renting this home. P.S our family bought a 10X10 canopy for the beach, but didn’t have enough room to bring it home so we left it at the house. Hopefully future renters enjoy it!

Large comfortable house near the beach

We loved this house! It was spacious, extremely comfortable, and an 8 minute walk to the beach. It has parking for one good sized car, my Escalade wouldn’t fit but my friend’s Durango fit. There’s boogie boards, a few basic chairs, sand toys, ice chest and a beach cart. We would absolutely rent the house again. While the carpet does need cleaning due to many stains throughout, it was clean and vacuumed. Terrific spot and I would absolutely rent it again!

It was amazing

It was fun the beach is close there’s a liquor store a min walk but the carpets were dirty and had stains and the 3rd floor bathroom was clogged but nothing major and there are boogie boards and like beach supplies for the kids but I loved it! Would totally recommend

Great Girls Get-Away

Stay was fantastic! Just a few items that are in need of repair: Sliding Door Screen on 3rd floor - difficult to open and actually fell off the track. Ice Maker - completely frozen inside so had to take out ice tray to get ice and could not use automatic dispenser. Blinds in Room with Queen/Full Bed would not close (go down to cover entire window) No linens/sheets were in the ottomon for sofa beds and none were found anywhere else in the entire house.

Dirty with Poor Mgmt

We booked this unit to stay over Thanksgiving. When we arrived the unit was super dirty. The toilet had urine in it. The bathroom sink also had toothpaste spit on it. The floors were absolutely filthy on the lower level. Upstairs all of the carpeting is quite disgusting and stained everywhere. Upon contacting the property manager regarding the unit being dirty they sent a crew over the following afternoon. To make matters worse that evening the power went out, and all the carbon monoxide/fire detectors went off at 2am. The alarms were stating their was a carbon monoxide alert so we needed to vacate the unit. We contacted the fire dept and sat outside until they arrived. This is with a 4 month old and a 4 yr old. When the fire dept. arrived they stated their was nothing to worry about but all the detectors had faulty batteries. Fortunately they were able to unplug them all for us and we could go back inside at 3am!! So now we had to sleep in a unit with no fire alarms or carbon monoxide detectors. The next day I spoke with the property manager regarding the situation and she said she would send someone to replace the batteries the next day. Well that never happened even after she swore they did. She then stated she would come by the next morning at 930 am to replace all the batteries. She didn't show up until 2pm. She also advised me that they would be giving me a refund for a nights stay for the fire alarm issue as well as a refund for the unit not being clean. We are now 3 weeks out and they haven't issued any type of refund, and I have reached out to Vacassa 2x. This unit is poorly managed and poorly maintained. Do yourself a favor and avoid! O and it sits like right near the train tracks which is super loud all night when the trains come roaring thru.
