This was a perfect spot to overlook the ocean despite the daily threat of rain during the week we were there. The view to the ocean and the pier was unobstructed, and it was really easy to get out to the amenities of the resort as well as the downtown restaurant scene. Would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect beach stay

Very cute unit with amazing views. So nice to be on the beach and not have to deal with parking. It would be very helpful if the kitchen had Tupperware. We made sandwiches and sliced up fruit for the beach day but there was no way to transport it to the beach. It would have been helpful to save leftovers as well to eat the next day. Other then that detail, everything was perfect.

Amazing view!

The balcony was my favorite place to sit in the morning, drink coffee, read a good book, admire the ocean and the surfers. The condo was very spacious, clean, comfortable beds and a great place to relax with teens in between all the activities. Would definitely stay here again, the only difficulty we had was regulating the temp in the downstairs shower.

Good directions. Try to check in before dark. Had good directions. Great ocean view. Slept with windows open . Lots to do on pier , places to eat, sea lions close by, we went to safari zoo , midway, and sea world. 35- 45 min from those places. We got to spend quality time with our marine!

We had a wonderful stay in Oceanside for the weekend. This condo is wonderful with incredible views. One of things I appreciated the most was the security of the property as a whole. Home has very comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. Thank you for a great stay!

Wonderful ocean views from every window and two patio decks . Very clean, comfortable and spacious condo. This condo is decorated beautifully and has everything you need for a vacation. Definitely want to return with my family again .

Great Place

Location, property and Condo were amazing. Place was clean and the views of the ocean from the upper balcony were priceless. Easy to walk into town for food and shopping and to the pier or other direction to the harbor. Garage parking was very tight in a truck and would be the same for a large vehicle but other options are available so not a big deal unless you want covered parking. Can't wait to visit again.

Even better than it looks!

Overall our stay was great! The views were even better than they look in pictures. The décor was very cute and everything was clean. It was plenty of space for two adults and 3 teens. The property was lush and very well kept - it looked like a pacific resort. I felt very safe letting my teen girls walk around the property. It was very close to the restaurants at the Harbor. The couple of improvements I would suggest: the listing does not state that there is no air conditioning. The first I saw this was in the contract after I booked through VRBO. It worked out fine, but you need to leave the patio doors open at night to keep it from getting a little warm. The second is the frying pans are very warped so it was hard to cook anything evenly in them. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. I would definitely recommend!

Charming Bluewater Retreat

An annual extended weekend with our son and daughter-in-law was a success once again thanks to our stay at Bluewater Retreat. The condo was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. We prepared dinner two nights and ate out one. Due to the stormy weather we were not able to enjoy the beach but couldn’t have asked for a better indoor get away. The gym at NCV is clean and there is plenty of equipment to enjoy. The hot tub/spa was perfect on a drizzly evening. Aaron, the property manager was responsive to our inquiries and sent Patrol out to light the pilot light in the fireplace right away. Unfortunately, the mechanism was not cooperative so we didn’t have a fire. This was not a problem, but will hopefully be repaired for the next guest. All in all, a wonderful three day weekend!
