ANTS EVERYWHERE! They were in the living room, crawling on us when we sat on the couch, they were running up and down the walls in the bathroom, on our toothbrush and toothpaste, they were in the bed and bedroom and in our suitcases and clothes. We had to leave and check into a hotel. The owner didn't care and didn't refund us for the nights we stayed at a hotel. They said they would spray toxic ant killer and vacuum. That's it. There are plenty of other units to rent from. Stay away from this one. It was unsanitary and disgusting.

Great location and beautiful property

We were in town for a soccer tournament and decided to make a family trip out of it. The location is perfect. You can hear the waves from the patio area. Everything was either walking distance or a very quick drive. The kitchen had all the things you needed for a few days stay. We appreciate the towels and clean linens that were available. We would definitely stay here again. Just to reiterate something that I missed in the original listing: there is NO AC in this unit. When we stayed here, it was perfect. We were thankful for the fans that were provided that could bring in the cool outside air at night. But all ceiling fans worked well and kept the temperature comfortable. The main bed is also a little soft so just beware if that’s not going to work for your back. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again.

Our new favorite at North Coast Village!

We really enjoyed our vacation and hope to book this same condo next summer! It's clean, comfortable and well appointed. The property manager was very responsive and friendly. It would have been helpful to have written instructions for the use of the television remotes - we couldn't figure out how to watch TV, but luckily that's not our priority when we come to Oceanside! The only feature I found truly inconvenient is that there is no bedroom door, so when someone needs privacy, closing the door in the hallway is the only option but that prevents everyone else from having access to the bathroom and sink area. Overall, I still give this condo top rating and I'm looking forward to staying again next year!

We will be back!!!

Fantastic location. Super easy check-in and check-out. Loved the secured parking. Beautiful grounds. Had a bit of trouble with trying to do laundry at the on grounds location, having to get a laundry card, which may have been our own fault for not reading directions completely beforehand. But excellent location, was like a main drag to the beach. Condo was clean and well stocked with any supplies you might need.

Great location but needs updating

We have stayed in quite a few condos at north coast, and really enjoy every one we have been in. This place was no exception except I have to mention the fact that the bed was so bad that I could barely sleep for five nights. It seriously needs to be replaced as there are big hollows in it, as well as trenches and plateaus! Very uncomfortable for two people. A few other things need updating including rugs, but the major problem was the bed. Check-in process was great, and as I stated before the location couldn’t be better.

Close to beach

If you want a close beach location and walking distance to restaurants, the pier and the harbor, this is the place. I found it to be as described. Very clean, very nice. There were a few ants as indicated but not a problem. The only complaint I have is that it was very hot! There is no AC, however; two fans were provided. I arrived at night and the condo had been closed up for hours. I was unable to cool it off with open windows until 24 hours later. The bedroom was insufferable. There is no breeze at all. My guests that slept in the living room were cooler but had to sleep with the curtains open in order to get a cooling breeze. We left the windows and doors open all day and night!! I do not know how this can be remedied but I will look for a different condo location at North Coast Village in the future. One that gets a better breeze. My family and I have stayed in the C building before and not had any of these issues. I really liked being close to the beach.

Lovely location to the strand O-side

Loved the location and easy access to street for loading & unloading our car. Very close to the strand/beach and view of ocean from patio drinking morning coffee. Bed was comfortable & linens/supplies were great! We wanted to extended our stay an extra night and host was very accommodating :0) Had a lovely stay & would recommend this place to others! Summer at Oceanside

The unit was well appointed and in a great location. Was reasonably clean, but if you moved any furniture, not so much. Drying rack for towels and swimsuits would be awesome as they don’t want u hanging them outside. Street noise can be a bit much but that’s not NCV’s fault. Parking garage is awesome as this can be an issue near the beach.

By The Beach

We were pleased with the extra amenities such as pool, spa rec room as well as a spot to park our rental car. I was worried about not having A/C but the breeze from the ocean really did keep the place nice and cool. We definitely liked being within walking or biking distance to the beach and popular downtown area.

Great place for family vacay

Awesome well-stocked condo. Location of the development is a little weird between harbor and pier, be prepared to drive or walk far for food and shopping. We had a toddler with us so it wasn’t easy to walk places. Condo is just steps from the beach though so that made up for it!

Beautiful property!

We loved our stay! Our small family of 4 had plenty of space, the unit was very clean and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The location and proximity to the beach was very convenient. We loved the pool and never had an issue finding a spot. There was some construction going on during our stay so it made it difficult to sleep in and have quiet time but we understand it’s inevitable. I highly recommend booking this spot for your next trip!

Excellent location

This unit is a great location and NCV complex had fun amenities for young kids (ping pong, mini golf, pool). The kitchen is in need of more plates/bowls and the mattress is ready to be updated. Despite those minor changes, we would definitely stay here again.

Great location and easy access

Great place and easy to check in/out. Super close to the beach and since the back patio accessed the street we could bring our bikes in and out easily. Only reason it wasn’t a 5 star was the patio screen door was broken, both the screen and the rollers so it was kind of useless and our key didn’t work in the patio door so if you wanted to access this way you either had to leave the door unlocked or go around through the parking garage. We notified the management company and they sent someone over right away but they couldn’t fix the door or the key issue. Overall a really great spot, we would rent this same unit again without hesitation.

Beautiful Views

The property was fantastic. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds my fiancée and I have ever slept in, the views at sunset were perfect and we spent a ton of time on the porch. The only issue we had was that there was construction going on right across the street and if we were home during the day, we couldn’t enjoy the fresh air unless we wanted to listen to the jackhammering and trucks backing up and beeping all day. Luckily, the construction ended well before sunset, so it was annoying but didn’t break our trip. MakeMyVacation was great and gave us a discount because of the construction. Overall, fantastic place and fantastic vacation!
