Always a great time at NCV

We love North Coast Village. The property is stunning and you can’t beat the proximity to the ocean. The only draw back is the underground parking has very low clearance. We had to remove our Thule carrier and place it on the hood of the car to get into our parking spot. Otherwise, the condo is well-appointed and we made use of the beach chairs.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We were greeted by fresh ocean air and rolling waves. The unit was very clean. We had access to all the amenities of the condo like we lived there! The pool was heated. We had direct access to the beach from the complex . The short walk to restaurants and Nanna & Pop Pop’s Ice cream and candy store was excellent. We had PLENTY of towels, 4 extra pillows and 2 extra blankets. There was also 2 beach chairs and umbrella to use!! Bummers: no coffee or tea, no shampoo/conditioner: bring your own. The unit has a full kitchen to cook, but we were only in for the weekend and didn’t want to carry in more things. Tip: bring small bites like cereal, toast, milk. The check in map and directions could be reworded and clarified, but we found it. We will be looking to book this unit again in the future. We love the San Diego area. Oceanside is lovely and more down to earth than San Diego proper. Snag whatever dates you can for the summer. You can’t beat the beach access! When I lived in SD, finding parking near the beach was always a hassle. We walked there, boogie boarded for a solid 3 hours and came back in to wash up for dinner. We have never booked a unit like this before . I was very worried & wondered if we should have booked a hotel. This was a wonderful experience. So easy. Loved the privacy and living like a local while we were in town!!

Gorgeous unit!

The unit is just as described. You can sit on the patio and listen to the waves, the view is perfect of the courtyard and the ocean over the rooftops of the cottage units. Inside the unit it has many upgrades and is very comfortable and inviting. It is decorated very nicely and the fireplace came in handy during the cooler evenings. I was disappointed when I arrived and the master bed had stained sheets. When contacting the management company I noticed extra sheets in a cupboard and they said I can use them so, I made the bed..they said to set the sheets out and they would have someone stop by the next day. No one ever collected the dirty stained sheets. Another drawback or at least something to note is the noise in the courtyard. I stayed during off season so there are many less people onsite and in the pool and golf area but you can hear noise even with the sliding door closed. The summer months would be very noisy with more people below the unit all the time. The laundry card was also a weird issue and basically you spend a lot more for a load than they show they charge because it will only allow you to load $5 on it. The amenities: gym and sauna were great! The gym had a lot more than I expected with a variety of weights and machines to use. The proximity was so close to many restaurants and some shops. Try the pie shop in the "Top Gun" house. The sunsets were amazing from the patio and all so close to the beach. All in all a very nice week!

Nice location and property

Property complex is a little dated but overall it was a good property for the price and location. Bed was super comfortable and we loved being close to the beach. Most of the things needed in the kitchen were present and it was a clean unit. The electric fireplace wasn't working but overall it was great and would stay there again.

Nice resort, good views

We really enjoyed this unit at north coast . A couple of things , the ceiling fans wobble and make noise at higher speeds which are needed to sleep 😉 and the drawers in the bathroom come apart when you pull them out . Having the beach chairs was a great bonus ! Bed was comfortable just needs a lighter blanket 😊

Nice unit, noisy location

The unit itself was very nice, well appointed and well stocked kitchen. It was very clean with plenty of towels and beach towels. The only problem was the noise from the pool area. As another reviewed noted, we had to keep the windows open and the noise of the pool area and all the children playing was an issue for us. It may not be for others. We do love the location of the North Coast Village but will look for a different unit next time on the outer perimeter of the complex.

Peaceful place in Oceanside.

We had a great stay in Oceanside. Our trip was mostly for some great golf experiences in the San Diego area but I will definitely be back with my wife and younger kids which this place would be great for. Less then 100 yards from the beach and within walking distance to the Oceanside pier. It felt like a hidden gem!

Our stay was wonderful in every way. Clean room, fully stocked supply of toiletries, pantry items, linens, etc. Beautiful view of and proximity to the ocean. Can't wait to come back!

Great place!

I would definitely stay here again. We had everything we needed and it was clean and well updated. This place is right on the beach which makes it so nice you can hear the ocean waves at night. It was walking distance to town which made it nice.

Accurate description

My wife and I stayed for a week from 5/14/2022-5/21/2022 and we really enjoyed our stay. Not only were the pictures very accurate, but we also appreciated the close proximity of the rental to the beach. We just happened to go when there was mostly cloudy days but we did enjoy 1 day at the beach. Everything was within close proximity so we left our car in the parking spot 90 Percy of the time. We arrived later than normal check in but both Mimi and security were very helpful and understanding and we had a very smooth check in. I would highly recommend using the app for your check out as well. We loaded up our car, dropped off the keys in the drop box, checked out on the app and we were on our way home. I hope to be back very soon and again I would highly recommend this rental. You won’t be disappointed.
