Loved our trip to Oceanside

Everything was great except the first two days of our stay our patio was obstructed with scaffolding that you had to duck under if you wanted to walk outside through the sliding glass door and we couldn’t sit on our patio. Painters were outside our building all day on Saturday (we could see them through the windows etc) We did get a very small refund but I was pretty disappointed about one of the main highlights of this rental for me was the view of the ocean from the patio and/or kitchen table and it was all scaffolding. Unlucky timing for us however, they did move it for our last two days. Everything else was great, The amenities are nice heated pool and hot jacuzzi, great gym, present security, beautiful grounds, the room itself was very clean and up to date. The location is awesome you can walk right out side to the ocean or to the harbor where there is a great coffee shop , and other nice little restaurants . Walking distance to the pier . I would go back but try to book without so many extra fees which doubled my cost and make sure your not under construction.

We had a great time at North Coast Village. We have stayed there before and plan on returning.

Condo G33 was great. We did have a problem with a few ants. And I think our only other comment is the floors are really squeaky…especially during the night. 😊

Disappointing choice of unit…

Badly in need of updating, replacement of furniture and dirty rug, clearing out cupboards to make room for visitors’ belongings and groceries. Ant traps need replacing and their locations cleaned.. Screen door and blinds difficult to open and close. Broken beach chair should be trashed. Complex and location in general superb, security top notch, landscaping and upkeep wonderful. On-The-Sand agents very responsive and provided needed heater and new ceiling fan right away.

Great Location

Great location (walking distance to harbor and restaurants), with grassy area and lounge chairs for watching the amazing sunsets. The complex has lush landscaping and a lovely pool. Having a piano is definitely an added plus, however, the property itself was not up to standards with cleanliness. There is a pile of broken vertical blinds under the bed as well as lots of dust and hair. I don’t understand how that is acceptable in any property. It was gross to see that right under my head while I slept. Lastly, the rug in the living room should be replaced as it made my socks dirty.

Excellent location

Steps to the sand is accurate! We loved our time in Oceanside and the ease of getting to/from the beach. The condo was well provisioned with beach gear (I should have looked before packing because we brought way too much stuff they already provided) There was an ant problem….but a quick Walmart grocery delivery fixed that! We will be back next year!

Little Beach Paradise

Love the ground level condo with views and sounds of the ocean. Just a quick walk to the beach and restaurants. We opened windows for a fresh sea breeze when needed. Clean bed, nice kitchen and the grounds are amazing! The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed feeding the koi fish. Just a great experience. We will be back!

Nice getaway!

This was a last minute booking for us and even asked to add an extra day which they were able to accommodate and arrange. Great little neighborhood. The pictures are exactly how serene it is. My family and I will be coming back again to stay another trip. Clean, very well kept and easy check in / check out process.

Great location -over all good. Too much clutter in the closets. Who needs 6 booge boards?

Less than what we expected, but we enjoyed are stay after things were fixed. There was no reservation on file when arrived. 15 minutes later and the office would have been closed and we would have been locked out. Both screen door frame latches were missing, could not lock. Fixed the next day. TV not working fixed same day. -remote still broken. Takes two remotes to operate TV. Reported ants all over the outside patio door frame - reported 9-28 to the office.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay here at G33! It was perfect for our family of 4, literally a minute walk to the beach. The unit was very clean and tidy and we were very pleased with our experience. The grounds are so beautiful and everything is very close by. We will definitely be coming back to stay at North Coast Village again.

Winter in Paradise

Wonderful condo with outstanding views of the San Luis Rey River, the surf and the sunsets. North Coast Village is ideally located for those wishing to take long walks. To the north is Oceanside Harbor where you cross the bridge and walk to the right along the harbor with its docks scattered with powerboats and sailboats and numerous restaurants to choose from. Or, you can walk to the left along the beach where you can watch the surfers do their thing and the gorgeous sunsets we were treated to every evening. To the south of the complex is the strand where once again you walk along the beach with the added option of walking out on the 1/4 mile pier where locals and tourist alike try their luck with catching the big one. At the end of the pier is another restaurant. Two lovely walks which will take you an hour to navigate at a brisk pace. Invigorating!!! The newly renovated kitchen offers all the amenities needed to do all your own cooking with the added option of numerous restaurants close by. Although there are always small issues with a rental, I will say we were most pleased with our extended vacation at this condo and would highly recommend it to others.

I have stayed in many vacation rentals including North Coast Village. G33 is my favorite now. I love the access to the beach. The kitchen has better quality dishes and pots and pans. Very clean and welcoming.

We loved the location of this condo. Having a front & back door make a nice cross breeze.

The front & back door make for a nice cross breeze. Patio is spacious with great harbor views. Convenient walk to beach. Wish there were more bath towels. But otherwise well supplied. Would definitely return. Look under the bed for a surfing surprise. 🏄

to no fault of the property, the only reason a 4 instead of a 5 was that they were dealing with the annual sand replenishment which made the view a little less amazing since there were giant pipes and caution fencing. That being said, the location was awesome -- EASY walking distance (like 300 yards, maybe) to the beach and 1/4 of mile, maybe to the Oceanside harbor where all the shops and restaurants are. We planned to do some of the other local attractions, but the kids would have been equally happy just playing at the beach, the pool and in the condo. We'll be looking to come again in the future and I can invision it being a 5 star review!

Beautiful grounds

When we first arrived we were upset as it looks like in the picture that the beach is right in front of you, but it is not you are on and inlet of the ocean and have to cross a street and walk down the road to the beach, the longer we were here it was just fine. Nice outdoor area and you can watch the sunset every night. The condo was very nice and beachy, furniture was comfortable and the bed and pillows were great. The shower is small if you are person of size. The grounds are so pretty with flowers and greenery and the pool area is fun. All in all we would come back and stay in this unit again, it is close to a fun beaches and area to dine.
