The view, the view, the vies...hands down the reason to stay at this place. Also, the host was very attentive and communicative. We had no issues, but felt confident that they would have been addressed immediately.

Refund my money

Pretty dated property and pictures do NOT reflect the condition of the property as it is not well maintained. Used the washing machine once and it leaked all over the floor, ruined our clothes and spent couple of hours mopping up the floor mess.

View didn’t disappoint

Great location, beautiful view. No A/C so was quite warm and muggy in Sept. There are fans and keeping the windows open helped. Well stocked with kitchenware, linens, soaps, appliances etc. Overall, great stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The only concern we had was the electrical outlets/extension cords.

Spectacular

Just like the pictures! Very clean, perfect location and ocean front! My husband, 9 year old daughter, our small dogs and I spent a few days here - walking to downtown and the pier area, relaxing to the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks. The tide would go out early afternoon and we were able to enjoy the beach area and playing in the ocean until dark. Absolutely perfect vacation. We come to California often, but this time it was really hard to leave.

Great Location, But Property Needs Renovation

The house location was excellent. It was right on the beach. There were a lot of restaurants nearby as well. However, the house and furnishings left a lot to be desired. The furniture was old. The bed was old, lumpy, and not the most comfortable. I read an old review that noted a broken window in one of the bedrooms. I had assumed that the window would have been fixed. However, the window remained broken and held together with tape. I felt the price I paid for the property was not worth it. They charged for a 5 star property and I got a 3 star property instead.

Allllmost Ideal

Our family of five (two adult daughters plus teenage daughter) stayed here for eight nights in late July. The property looked just like it does in the photos: beachy, breezy, clean, with beautiful ocean views. The management was in touch with us before the trip, offering us additional nights as they came became available. They were also very communicative regarding some packages I had sent to the office before our arrival, and easily accessible for the minor maintenance issues that arose during our stay. Luckily, we had done some research before the trip, and having been to this area of Oceanside numerous times before, we knew that having actual beachfront was iffy, due to erosion control. We knew ahead of time there might not be much beach, and we were right. Although we couldn't simply walk down the stairs and spread out a blanket and hang out at the beach for hours, we could still work with the tides to get some swimming, fishing and boogie boarding in. The stairs down to the beach were broken off (or the ground beneath them had eroded away) and were a little precarious to maneuver. With the use of the surrounding boulders, it was doable (but not recommended for anyone older or not so agile). However, it was only a short walk (streetside) to get to a more accessible, family friendly, walkable beach. The neighborhood itself seemed friendly and safe, and provided ample opportunity for walking or bicycling to the pier and into downtown Oceanside. The only other downside, besides beach accessibility, is the lack of counter space in the bathrooms, both of which only have pedestal sinks. (But again, we knew that ahead of time from the photos.) And the living room furniture wasn't super comfortable, but we really only sat in there to watch Olympic gymnastics in the wee hours of the mornings. Other than those minor details, the home suited our family perfectly, with plenty of room for us and our dog to spread out. The shared yard was OK, depending on who the neighbors were. We had three different groups there during our stay and all but one was barely noticeable. Having stayed in numerous beach rentals during the past 20 years, we've yet to find the PERFECT spot. We've learned to enjoy the good and roll with the not so good. Our family had a really nice time and made some great memories, so that alone is worth every dollar to us. Side note: I would recommend bringing an extension cord, power strip and fans.

August Stay

Beachfront Only rental agency provided excellent communication, and PERFECT, independent check-in. Exceptionally clean, and well-equipped. Beds, pillows and linens were comfortable. There is ABSOLUTELY no beach. Stay here if you enjoy a seaview. Don’t even think of entering the water, or walk along the beach. There is no beach. PERIOD. The TVs have limited free programming, since no cable or dish—streaming only. If you subscribe to Netflix/Hulu/Prime,etc, use your own account to access what you wish. Not much of anything at all in Oceanside and only a couple of restaurants. Went to Delmar for a great meal at the Poseidon. Boutique shops are in Encinitas or Carlsbad. Every time I’ve been to this area, it’s June gloom from morning till night. Once again, five days out of six, no sun, overcast and gloomy, even though we stayed August 15-21. Enjoyed the stay nonetheless because the unit was spacious and comfortable, affordable, and hey, the sound of the relentless surf was enchantingly mesmerizing!

Great property, gorgeous view, easy and professional process

We loved everything about it. Only one suggestion which is to make sure potential visitors know it is oceanfront not really beach front. It's a beautiful rocky shoreline but you cannot directly access the beach. However it's only a short walk and should not deter anyone from renting. Just better for people to know in advance. We will definitely rent again!!

Nice place

We loved the views from the balcony. The place is nice and clean if a bit old. Worked well for my family. I do wish they would give some attention to the outside area. Could use some more sand. It’s a great outdoor space but could be nicer. The coastline has changed over last few years and now the steps don’t reach all the way down to the beach. You can get there by climbing down on rocks, but could be hard for some. It depends on tide schedule if you have any beach, but there was plenty for us during low tide. Overall a very nice stay, liked that we could bring our dog.

Amazing location with great amenities and view!

The property was nice and clean on arrival. There were plenty of towels, beach towels, and linens for our family of 5 for two nights. The beach front is a nice swim location during low tide. The hot tub was a nice feature the kids enjoyed after time in the ocean. Would rent again. thank you.

You can’t beat the view and sunsets! The house was beautiful inside with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Nice open floor plan. Loved all the moonstones on the beach!
