This was a great place for our weeklong stay. The spaces worked well for a large family group, and the beach access was lovely.

Such a beautiful home. The location was perfect. Plenty of street parking. There is direct access to the beach. Beautiful views of the sunset. The place was very spacious and clean. The hosts were very quick to respond to any questions I had. I highly recommend this home. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Great Family Getaway!

We had a group of 11, six adults and five children under the age of 7, plus one dog. The space accommodated us perfectly. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs with a full kitchen. There are two bedroom and one bathroom with a full kitchen downstairs. The views are gorgeous. Not much of a sandy beach, but we were able to walk out into the water during low tide. The sandy area on the lower level of the property was great for the kids to play and for us all to hang out. There are plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, boogies boards. The hosts were great communicated in a timely manner. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

O'Side Reunion House

We were lucky as in Sept we snuck a peek at the empty house on a family visit to the area. We have 9 family in Carlsbad-O'Side.The Beach house is just as listed, and the past 2024-25 reviews are very accurate. We found almost nothing wrong at all with the house. Some doors are hard to open and close to the patio, but we fought through it. Beds and towels are fantastic. Furniture was great and decor was very nice, and everything was very clean. Personally, if I was staying here again, I would bring my own Salt & Pepper shakers. Hated the ones in the house. ALSO, A garage door opener would be a nice addition and a Gas BBQ.I have Not messed with charcoal BBQ's for over 20 years. So, I brought a small folding Coleman gas grill with me in the car. Used it 3 times.We booked for 11 adults and one 11-year-old, but only 9 of us stayed @ the house. It was perfect. Many Dolphins were seen every day and even one seal was on our beach at low tide. Great House.100% Loved our time there. Thank You

Another great stay!

We have stayed at this property several times now, and it never disappoints. It is always a great time. Easy check-in and check-out procedures. The house is very comfortable, well furnished, and very clean. The hosts are very responsive to any questions. One of the best!

Beautiful home!

This is a beautiful place. There were nine women staying and there was plenty of room for all of us. Nice big deck to enjoy the sunrise with coffee and sunsets with cocktails. We had a great time here and would definitely stay again.

Gorgeous place that could have been a 5

The place was beautiful. However, they do not tell you that you cannot have any day guests in their description. We flew from the east coast to visit other family and could not have them over to enjoy the ocean during the day. In addition the cook wear was very old and even burnt so it was difficult to prepare food for the 9 of us staying there. Lastly, the host did not return numerous phone calls, texts or emails to address some the aforementioned questions or requests. The stay could have been amazing had these issues been addressed.

Lovely property

This property is exactly as presented. Very clean! Plenty of bath towels, kitchen towels, and beach towels. Kitchen with almost everything one might need to cook a nice meal including sharp kitchen knives! (A sheet pan would be a great addition) All appliances in good working order and clean as well. Neighborhood is quiet and walkable; Oceanside has plenty of eateries and coffee spots so we were very happy here!

Great stay

Comfortable, attractive home with gorgeous .views. Plenty of outdoor space with ocean out the back gate. Great kitchens(2) for a group. Quiet neighborhood in winter.Only issues were Hot water was not very hot. Property manager was not accurate about equipment in house.

The Perfect Beach Home

As a business and only having a once a year retreat in person, we look for a home that is welcoming, clean, with a beautiful, relaxing indoor and outdoor atmosphere and this Beach house checked off all the boxes! From great communication, to amenities in the home easy to access, and a perfect large accommodating space, we look forward to booking another trip here for our next retreat and definitely recommend it for family, friends, or a work trip.

Great time at the beach!

Friends and I spent four days here in June. We were here during the week, so Oceanside was not crowded. We all spent hours on the beach, playing in the surf, and we had a blast. There were plenty of towels and boogie boards. During high tide, there is very little beach. During low tide, you have a private beach, all to yourselves! Two different patios, and a sand area with fire pit. This place is great for a group looking to hang out, relax, and unwind.

Stunning view!

The home is very comfortable! Tastefully decorated but casual & easy for families. The outdoor decks are wonderful, and the kids loved the sandy play area. We made fires & roasted marshmallows at least 3-4 nights. We saw dolphins and lots of seabirds almost every day. My 7 yo granddaughter body-surfed on the boogy boards provided. The sea was shallow for a long way out. The beds are very comfortable and it was nice to have a spice rack, Keurig coffee-maker, & all the utensils, pots, pans, etc. in the kitchen. It was nice to have both an upstairs AND downstairs kitchen!

Absolutely great location

A small number of negatives, and a LARGE number of +’s. First make sure to take property and personal security seriously…make sure doors are locked, etc…some people came onto the lower deck through an adjacent property, and made themselves very much at home while we were there sleeping…(and subsequently awakened) Second, the home is not new, and the aging is showing a bit… That said,. The property is great at NOT transmitting noise between floors, is very well equipped with all of life’s necessities, with a great little beach, and ohhh my the sounds and views of the surf,…magnifique. All in all it is a great property in a great location…very much recommended!

Fabulous 10 days (20th to the 30th) of December

A great location. Parking was very good especially access to the two car garage. All appliances including washer/dryer, range, refrigerator were great. The dinning area, kitchen,living-room and bedrooms were all accommodating. The outside deck and access to the beach were very nice. Overall a very good set up for a large family group. Not much on the down side. The large window looking out from the living room at the beach and ocean was half fog up which was disappointing and a leak from this same sliding glass window caused a small ceiling failure in one of the lower bedrooms. A crack in a coupling of the kitchen sink created a leak. Overall it was a great stay for the entire family and I would recommend it use by others.

Girls trip to unwind and connect

There were 10 of us -- and our 10th girlfriend trip! It was our time to unwind and connect -- have fun and enjoy the ocean sunsets! Over the last several years, several of our group have moved out of state -- but they all flew in to maintain our annual get together. We cook alot - sleep alot - talk alot! The house was perfect --enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us -- the beds were comfy and amazing - the house itself was perfect size - lots of room - having a lower level as a separation for those who wanted to stay up was well used. The house was well appointed with everything we needed. Appliances up todate - clean and plenty of room for multiple cooks in the kitchen. The view and sound of the ocean everywhere we looked was amazing -- the firepit and decks gave us a front row seat to waves - sunsets - views. We will be back!
