Great place close to the beach!

Great overall stay. Had a small issue with the bathroom sink not draining, but did not ruin the weekend.

Old Building with a Number of Major Issues

It was important to us that the building was gated and had a working elevator. My wife has mobility issues. The biggest problem was that the elevator only worked half of the time and there were times we couldn't go out because of that. Safety of being in a gated community was also important, but the front gate was left open 24 hours a day because it was broken and they couldn't fix it. One day when we were going to use the microwave for meals, the fuse blew because, as the owner said, "This is an old building and has old wiring that goes out if you use too many appliances at the same time" (we only used the appliances furnished with the unit). There were also drainage problems in the bathroom sink, and the owner said, "This is an old building with old pipes that cause drainage problems." In short, the package we paid for was not what was advertised. We asked for an adjustment, but they said, "These are not issues we are in control of, but we'll give you a 15% reduction on your next stay with us. Fact is, we wouldn't stay in this unit again if there were a 50% reduction.

Beautiful location very close to ocean!

Overall, I would say everything went quite well. We brought our two daughters for a suprise trip to the ocean from Arizona. Being they are 7 and 5, we needed to be within walking distance of beach and rooms, so this location appeared ideal. The condo was small, as listed and it was fine for us. The pullout couch to bed worked good enough for them at night. The main bedroom was ok, stiff to us but not a deal breaker. For people to classify a beds true feeling is like comparing car rides. Everybody feels differently...some like, some dislike...so don't let this be a deal breaker because some random people felt the bed was stiff lol. There is no ac. If you are not used to that, it can be an adjustment to use floor fans everywhere. Ceiling fan in bedroom didn't work, as pointed out during our in person walk through but keeping window open and floor fans were enough to get us through. Plenty of kitchen items to use for in house cooking. Only issue we had from the start was there being no handsoap available but the hosts offered excellent communication and made the effort to help us out and restock, so that was appreciated. The other issue we ran into was doing laundry. Simple fix for this is for there to be more literature for guests on when they can be used or how to use them properly etc or if they aren't working at all, that this info be communicated ahead of time. From my experience at this location, don't put a quarter in if no lights are showing on the machine...overall, come and stay here. You will enjoy it. Enjoy the ocean and marina and sunsets. 😁

Awesome location and great communication from owner!

My daughter and I stayed in August 2022 and had a great time! I was right by the beach and had everything we needed. The fans were very helpful as there is no A/C. Any questions or concerns I had, the owner was quick to respond! I would highly recommend this and would definitely be back!! :)

Marina Condo

Location of this unit is on the best beach in oceanside. Very easy to walk out to beach, pool and spa nice, gated property with parking a plus. Our unit was on the second floor with nice view of harbor. The negative was no ocean breeze and unit was very warm. The fans didn't work, but owner was very responsive and brought us new fans, that was a big help. Size of unit was fine for the 3 of us. There were a few negatives for us however. While unit was nicely furnished and the work station was great, the couch was worn out, when you sit on it the cousins sunk in and the pull out bed was not flat and not useable for sleeping. We went out and bought a blow up mattress. TV did not have cable and only internet, and the lighting was dim in both living room and bedroom. Bedroom had no dresser or drawers for clothes, there was a big closet with plenty of hangers. There was no TV in bedroom, big negative for us. The Shower was AWESOME, but the bathroom cabinets were full of stuff that people had left, no room for our stuff. Kitchen has a great gas stove, but again the cupboards and fridge were full of stuff I assume previous guest had left so we had little space to put our food. We rent condos in Oceanside every year and are always told to clear out our food when leaving. Our last issue was with the complex as there was constant noise all night long from the unit above us. We contacted the our owner and they made a call and it stopped for a short time. The next day we complained at the rental office on property but it didn't help. Easy to walk to harbor restaurants.

Wonderful getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything about the unit was very comfortable. The bed and shower were awesome. The towels were great. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning watching the activity on the marina. Great restaurants were walking distance. Good value all around!

Great Stay

We loved this location!! The beaches are beautiful and not busy, there are restaurants near by and we enjoyed looking at the boats and seals in the harbor. The condo worked well for my family of 4. The owners Damian and Ana were very welcoming and accommodating when we arrived late. They were quick to respond to messages. We would definitely at again.

Great location

This condo was great with views of the harbor and the ocean just steps away. Cake between Christmas and New Year but it was a little chilly to enjoy the pool and ocean. The location felt very safe and the locals were helpful and friendly. Would stay again.

Great condo

We really enjoyed this condo. Very quiet and a beautiful view of the harbor. We liked watching the boats come in and out. The unit was clean and relaxing. With a nice updated shower. They also had all the beach stuff provided for you, even though we didn't use them this time around it was nice that they had them available. The owners were also super accommodating. We actually moved from one condo in the complex with the checkout at 10:00 right into theirs. They went out of their way to let us just roll everything from the other unit to their unit. We were very greatful for that. We will definitely be staying here again.

Excellent location and comfortable stay

First, we were very impressed with how quickly they responded after our reaching out! So truly grateful. We arrived, and they arrived to meet us in the parking area. He showed us where to park, and walked up with us to show us the condo and give us the keys. It was EXACTLY how it looked in the photos online. We were greeted with a personal touch, a sign with "welcome ____ + guest!" Loved this! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed, and more. Plenty of cleaning supplies, trash bags, zip locks, etc. They supplied a coffee maker and keurig machine. Golden. The living space was perfect for us. They do truly have a great spot for remote work....it is next to the balcony doors. Bedroom and closet space was ample. Please note, that there are no drawers for clothing.....but the closets are big and they supply plenty of hangers! The bed was very comfortable....and pillows were wonderful...easy to adjust to your preference of fullness. I brought my own pillow, but loved theirs and did not need to use. The shower space is awesome and the water pressure is A M A Z I N G! Enjoy! Fans! There is a ceiling fan in the living area and in the bedroom. They have 2 additional fans that can be placed wherever you choose. The balcony faces the harbor, and is lovely. The beach is a few steps away, restaurants and shops are also a few steps away. We visited the pool as well. It was clean, and and relaxing. We truly enjoyed our stay and really appreciated all of the extra love and care they provided. They even sent a message asking if all was going well. What a beautiful stay! Thank you so much 💗

Great location with really nice office workstation

We really enjoyed the property. The complex is right on the beach. Since we were working some of the time, we especially liked the office workstation, which had a sit/stand desk and a very large monitor with camera that was easy to connect to and work from. Really nice feature if you need to work remotely. The owners were responsive and the property was clean. We found the mattress in the bedroom was extra firm, a little too much for our preference. Also, the mattress in the sofa bed wasn't great, but our 11 year-old twins did fine on it. The sofa was comfortable to sit on. The bathroom seemed to have been recently remodeled and was nice. Overall it was a great experience and we would visit again.

Perfect spot to get away

Property is on the second floor and faces the harbor, perfect for watching the boats come in and out of the harbor, and also because you aren't exposed to the vehicle and people traffic noise on the beach side. Nice, quiet and relaxing. If you've never been to the harbor, this condo complex is right on the beach, sand just 50 yards from your room. 1 bedroom with a sleeper sofa in the living room, plenty of room for everyone. Those of you who have to work on vacation (like me) will appreciate the adjustable ergonomic workstation! This was very appreciated! Hosts were very attentive, friendly, and had everything you would need for a vacation on the beach. We had a great time and will definitely be staying here again.
