Trip with family

We had a good time. However the pictures online make it look MUCH less crowded than it actually is during the summer! The parking was difficult to say the least. When renting a place with 7 people, you will most likely have a larger car and the space provided was not meant for anything but a small car so....you're on your own to hopefully snag one of the visitor parking places.

21st Birthday Beach Week

The location was beautiful overlooking Oceanside Harbor and very secure. However, the townhome units are old and have some cosmetic issues. The handyman also had to disengage the lock on the front door so we could get in & out during our stay. There was no AC in the bedrooms and it was very warm! Lastly the fridge was frozen over on the bottom. It was a nice stay, but a bit overpriced!

Lovely relaxing stay

Really enjoyed the property. It was clean, roomy and comfy. Loved the view, loved the corner unit. Everyone was very nice. Had a great time at the beach, the pool and the hot tub. Love all the restaurant options. Not sure if it's not this properties policy but more than four rolls of toilet paper and four garbage bags would have been nice, but not the end of the world.

Family vacation

This listing was exactly as described in an amazing location. The views were undescribable that overlook the harbor in the ocean. The pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing. It was in walking distance of great restaurants in close to downtown Oceanside and Camp Pendleton. Great for a family looking for an unforgettable experience.

Beautiful property but could use just a couple fixes.

This property is pretty awesome, but a few relatively minor fixes would make it absolutely spectacular!! First thing we noticed in the bedrooms were the dilapidated ceiling fans. Although they were clean, they were pretty disgusting to look at. I presume the damp salt air has taken a toll as they looked to be 100 years old. Pick up a few $69 fans at Home Depot and it would drastically change the overall first impression of the bedrooms. (If you can bring your own small portable fan. The floor fan was so rusted and disgusting, no one would touch it.) The dishwasher was another source of grunginess. The tabs did not dissolve regardless of the setting and just made a mess on the inside of the dishwasher door and did not in any way clean the dishes. Definitely in need of a repair as we were there 5 nights and had to resort to handwashing all the dishes we used. Both master shower and hall bath had very slow drain issues which is not a huge deal but also should be a relatively simple fix. Aside from that, the unit was very clean, had amazing views and was in close proximity to ocean, restaurants and marina. The awesome basket of goodies from our cleaning crew was a nice added surprise. As others have stated, the parking space is beyond ridiculously small. We had to back in our Nissan Murano and had about 2-3 inches to spare (on both rear and sides) but we were able to fit it in as long as we folded in the side mirrors. Nothing they can do about that as most all of the spaces are that tight (and it is California after all.) With all this said - there was way more we absolutely LOVED about this location but just wanted to offer up a couple of fixes that would really make a dramatic difference overall. (The fans really HAVE to go!!)

Great location, spectacular views

My husband and I stayed in this condo for a week. We could not have asked for a more perfect location with beautiful views of the Oceanside Marina and the ocean - both just a two minute walk away. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped. The furniture especially the beds was very comfortable. The parking space, as noted by other reviews, was very tight even for our Honda CRV, between a post and a wall. The property manager was able to allow us to park in a visitor space but that might not always be the case.

Fantastic location and views! Cleanliness fair. Parking would have been difficult because only one assigned space which accommodates small car or cross over. The property listing says sleeps 8, but 8 persons would not fit in a car that size. Thankfully, the manager allowed us to park in some other spaces in front of the office. She was very nice and easy to work with!

Oceanside Marina VRBO - no A/C

Loved almoar everything about this unit! Very clean and provided all the appropriate paper products, soaps, etc... Check in was easy! I knew ahead of time that the unit did not have A/C and hoped it would have been cooler while I was there. It was in the mid to upper 70s and our unit faced the marina. Very warm the 4 nights we stayed there. Opened all windows and the temp inside never got below 78. A little warm for sleeping. They had ceiling fans in all bedrooms and 2 other fans to help with air flow. Train is also near by and hocks horn in early morning. Beautiful unit and great view! Wish they have A/C.

Beautiful property in a great area.

The condo was excellent with great views, easy access to the beach and fantastic restaurants within walking distance. One negative was the ridiculously tight parking spot assigned to this condo.

FANTASTIC SPOT!

Amazing location with spectacular views and minutes from toes in the sand. Perfect condo for our family of eight. Everything you need at this condo. We parked our vehicles and did not use them until we left. Heated pool and jacuzzi, bbq grills, the beach and a fully stocked kitchen. Could not ask for more. We will be back!!!

Annual family Thanksgiving

Beautiful area for a small family gathering. Low on utensils but we managed. Very nice and open so even while in the kitchen you feel like you are together. Dishwasher not working well and had an odor. Again, we managed. Felt like it had actually been cleaned a while prior to our arrival so we dusted over all areas. Dishes all needed to be rewashed by hand as they weren’t properly cleaned by dishwasher. We rewashed everything before use. Inconveniences but still a lovely room and great gathering space for our group.

Wonderful location and place

This location is a perfect distance between the beach, marinas, and shops/restaurants. The condo was clean, spacious, and perfectly equipped for a fantastic getaway. We’ll definitely return!
