Great Locale! Little bit tired amenities

Reading the reviews was not exactly clear to me on this place, so let me clarify. Amazing location facing the pier in an apartment complex. Beach was on the other side but the pier side was nice and quiet. The beach is very public and a dead end location - pros and cons to both. The apartment itself was sufficient. The furniture (beds) were really tired, lazy boy chair missing the handle, TV door off its hinges, just all the furniture was tired. This is not the top unit so be aware, upstairs neighbors were clearly home all the time and noticeable (nothing of course that can be done). Overall a decent location and with a little polish on the interiors this could be an amazing location. I would probably not stay again and instead look for a more well furnished location for the price. Property manager was amazing and incredibly responsive.

Great Location - Preventive Maintenance Problems

Loved the location and easy access to everything. Pool was great for the kids. But previous reviews seem a little skewed. The unit was not cleaned sufficiently (floors dirty, bath tub dirty, at least 5 lightbulbs were burned out and furniture needed cleaning. But since we were staying there for 18 days we bought a mop and broom and some cleaner and cleaned as needed.

Staycation getaway

We loved our stay at Marina Del Mar. Location is absolutely perfect and accomodations were wonderful. Loved having access to a warm outside shower to rinse off the kids before going to the pool or back up to the condo. Alsl convenient to have the actual bathrooms and showers down at the pool too. We will stay again!

Love this place!

I’m already looking forward to returning. This is just a perfect location if you’re looking for relaxation at the beach. Comfortable and convenient. Walk to the beach or the marina or Oceanside pier. Life is easy here. And, property manager has always been great. My 5th year staying at Marina Del Mar. YAY!

no a/c or ventilation. There are many fans to set up though which worked for us. Can be a little loud in the building with windows open. Parking could be difficult, but management took care of erroneous parkers. Location is amazing. We enjoyed the patio all day. Pool was great. Beach was really close and great for us.

Fabulous!

We had such an amazing time! The unit is so cute and had everything we needed! The beach is literally right outside of the property, we loved our beach view and the pool and hot tub were such a fun addition! We will be back for sure!

Great location

This place was perfect for a family of 5, this condo is right at the Harbor which has gift shops and restaurants. One side of the condo has the Harbor and the other side has the ocean. The facility had a pool and Hot tub in case it’s to cold/windy and the beach. The Condo’s Kitchen was nicely stocked.

Wonderful place

Perfectly located. Lots to do in the area. Perfect vacation rental with tons of amenities. Check in was super easy. Place was clean and well stocked. Loved loved loved this place.

4 night stay at the Plaza Del Mar

We were excited about our reservation that we made. The location was perfect the beach and restaurants all within walking distance. The only problem we had was the family above us. The parents let there kids run and jump all morning and most of the night. I texted our contact person to let them know what was happening. They said it was another property management that was renting the unit out. They did said they would try to get the problem resolved. The issue was never taken of. That was very disappointing. We did enjoy our visit why we were there except for the noise. Rick Tamez

On the beach! All you have to do is walk across the street. There are several excellent restaurants within walking distance. The pool and hot tub are clean and well-maintained.

Great Location and Property....BUT!!!

Great location and property; however please beware there is absolutely NO AC. Apparently that is a thing at some location along the beach. You must select AC in the amenities. Decent restaurants along the beach. We enjoyed the harbor view vs the beach view. It was stated that you get a good breeze at night just leave the windows open and it will cool down. Definitely didn’t cool down enough for us. We ended up getting a hotel room for the evening and stayed here during the day and evening while out at the beach. I’m only rating in a three and not 5 because I think it is misleading.

Perfect Location

Easy and friendly check in. Pictures do not do it justice. Perfect Harbor location, parked car and everything with in walking distance. Extremely clean and fully stocked. Would definitely stay here again!

Cute Condo

We love staying in the Marina Del Mar condos. This condo is nicely updated and has all the extras in the kitchen needed to stay a full week. They even had paper plates, disposable utensils, and Ziplock bags. which were a nice touch. We cooked several meals and didn't miss anything from our home kitchen. The beach towels and beach play items were nice to have on hand for the kids. We wish there were curtains in the bedrooms and the power outlets were hard to access but other than that, we had a nice stay.
