Family get away

Condo was great. Wonderful location and comfortable bed!Wish there was Air conditioning. The fan rattled terribly in the living room and the vent did not seem to open up all the way for the bedroom making it difficult to cool down. a box fan would be great. We kept the door open when we could and it helped cool things down at night. We had a wonderful time and would rent again. There was some sand on the top of the comforter but not underneith the sheets so it wasnt that big of a deal. we ran out of toilet paper and wish there had been a spare roll under the bathroom sink. Would love to visit again when construction is done. Pool, hot tub and BBQ area would have been nice. We appreciated the discount since they were not available.

Location.!

Location was awesome place was mostly clean and amenities were amazing. The only complaint I have is that the front door was difficult to open on my unit, there was a small ant issue and the bathroom could use a little more attention when it comes to cleaning. Other than that the location and the unit were great! Would go there again.

Oceanside retreat

Stayed in 213a. Lovely location, accommodations, and service. Had a minor issue of which Cindy promptly corrected. Great customer service!!! Love the area & have stayed elsewhere before, but would happily come back!!

Fathers day weekend gettaway

The place is small but has everything you need. The location was amazing, sunsets were beyond amazing. The condo has everything you need to cook a great meal. We BBQ by the community pool. The check in process was quick and painless. Cannot wait to return

Terrific location

We have stayed at this property before. Love the location; beautiful view of the beach, easy to get to, condo is nicely furnished. Property manager, Cindy, very pleasant, responsive, and good communication. Cleanness is an issue. Kitchen floor was dirty; dusty fans; dirty screens at windows (great weather for opening windows - but...); not fully stocked with paper goods, trash bags, dish soap. This seems to be an issue with the housekeeping vendors, but for the price - it was disappointing.

Perfect getaway!

You can’t beat the location of this rental. Easy access to parking lot and elevator. Walking distance to several shops and restaurants. Overlooks the ocean. Very clean and comfortable. Will definitely book again!

Beautiful location

Had a really great time with the hubby. Stayed a total of 9 days in 2 different units. The property manager cindy was amazing. She made the transition to my second unit nice by giving me the keys the day before since no one was in the unit. Was so nice cause I had lots of cold stuff in fridge and freezer and I thought I was gonna have to wait for check in time, but nope 🙌 we also got locked out of our first unit. My husband's fault and was kind of late. And i was scared to call cindy, but she was super cool about it and laughed about it and told us how to get back in. She's amazing look forward to staying next year 😁

Quick get-away

My husband, nephew & I needed a quick get away from AZ. This unit was a great option. We were directly across from beach, so easy to travel back & forth. Also fun to just sit on the balcony and people watch. The property is on the main strip but it is gated so we had secure parking the whole time. Very well stocked kitchen made it easy for meals at home. Very Comfortable bed but the pull out sofa was very thin.

Stayed in 213 A. Nice room and was very clean does need some upgrades. I would have given a 5 but the pool area was still under construction . Overall great place for a family vacation.

Short beach vacation

Loved the location and access to the beach. Room was a little warm but the breeze kept it nice. The beach is awesome. Would definitely stay here again

The condo is a lot nicer than others I've stayed in the same complex. The views cannot be beat, right on the beach. The management of the unit couldn't have been more responsive. They were fantastic. The bed is even comfy. The bathroom is nice, everything is very well done in this unit.

Nice place and very convenient. Furniture in the living room needs an update and cabinet doors a bit rough. It was very clean, but the electronics and remotes should be cleaned.

We were given the option of cancellation and...

We were given the option of cancellation and getting a full refund or postponing our stay until after August or taking a 30% discount and staying at Marina Del Mar because of the construction. We chose to take the discount and stay. It was a gamble and we lost. Our room (213A) was miserably hot. We had 5 fans going and couldnt cool it down. We are close friends of Dennis and Charlotte Dairman and have stayed with them in their room before. We ended up doing it again. Their room was markedly cooler than ours. They had two sliding screen doors that were each bigger than the smaller one in our room. Both of theirs had a 2x4 across them to prevent access to the decks outside them. We had a full sheet of particle board across ours, preventing any and all air flow into our room. I noticed that the vast majority of the rooms on the 2nd floor just had the 2x4s instead of particle board. Why? We would have gone home on Monday or Tuesday but Dennis and Charlotte offered us one of their bedrooms. Cindy and Meghan have always been very kind to us in the past and we have nothing but kind words for them. This experience has made us reconsider our future with Marina Del Mar. We were hoping to bring our 3 children and their families in 2019 or 2020 but that is certainly in doubt now. It seemed unfair to us to be the only ones to have particle board that essentially ruined our stay. I waswilling to sacrifice my ability to sit on the deck in the ocean breeze and read, which is my favorite part of the experience, if I could sit in the room and read with the breeze. Within minutes I would be sweating heavily. We will certainly have to do some thinking before committing again.

Awesom

An awesome ace to vacation, live, stay, visit, etc. Cindy and the ladies in the office were a pleasure to work with and always very kind and helpful. The location can't be beat. Walk to surf, pier, many restaurants around the harbor. The pool and hot tub area are clean and well cared for. We will be back. Thank you for such a great vacation.

Providing the basics would be nice

The condo location was great, staff made check in easy, nice view of the ocean. I was disappointed the condo did not come with some basics, for example, a hair dryer would have been greatly appreciated. Linens for the pull out sofa should have been included. One bottom sheet and a comforter was provided, not top sheet, and no pillow cases, seriously... no pillow cases?? Gross!!

Beach Soccer Championships weekend at Marina Del Rey

The Marina Del Rey rental was outstanding once again! We rent one every year during the Beach Soccer Championships which is held across the street and have such a great time during the tournament with our family hanging out in the pool, jumping in the ocean or using the kitchen to prepare meals and relax in the big living space! I could stay anywhere or even at home during the event but Marina Del Rey makes my time at the tournament much more enjoyable!
