Birthday gathering with my family

We had such a wonderful stay. The time past too fast but everything else was perfect. The house is wonderful. You can walk out directly to the ocean. People were digging for clams during low tide, surfing in the morning and we were enjoying the views. The beach does have vehicle traffic so we held the kids hands when we walked to the water. We couldn't ask for a better place to gather.

House at the beach of the pacific ocean

This was the 2nd time we rented the house with friends within about 1 year. The experience was the same both time. The location and the beach is great. The ocean is cold, but that is usual here. The 2 biggest problems that I noticed during the stays are the following: -the faucets are old and when anybody opens the hot water anywhere in the house the shower temp drastically and suddenly changes (ei: super hot - super cold). This issue is very annoying and even dangerous as one, especially children, can get burn. -the bed mattraces are old, moderately soggy, soft, and this time mine was even tilting towards the head. This was another major annoyance. Who would want to sleep head down? This is why only 3 stars. The electricity also went out on one of the entire kitchen wall and it could not be fixed. We handled it, moving the appliances elsewhere to plug them in. Lucky that it was not the wall part where the fridge or the micro was.

Beautiful location

But the property smells like it has been smoked in for 40 years. Even opening the windows to let fresh air in was not enough. The common areas were tolerable, but the master bedroom was not. I definitely wouldn’t return. If this smell doesn’t bug you, it’s a great place.

Great location

Unbelievable ocean views on the second floor but no ocean views on the first floor as it is blocked by dunes. Property needs an upgrade as appearance is outdated especially the garage as the ceiling is really low. Love the location of the property and we had a great time. Management was really nice to grant a late check-out.

Great location and house layout. Patio, outside windows, deck furniture/cushions and windows were awfully dirty on arrival. A simple power wash for new arrivals is recommended.

Great Ocean View Property

Enjoyed the breath taking view of the ocean and easy access to the ocean. One of the common bathroom didn't have a lock. Other than that, it was a well worth the stay.

Wonderful stay

Great house with fantastic location! Loved being ocean front watching the waves and all the activity. Fire pit was a nice added touch. Spacious and kitchen well stocked. Perfect for hanging out at the house and easy to get to downtown Pismo and Edna valley for wine tasting. Will definitely book again.

Excellent property

This house was perfect for our family Thanksgiving gathering. The kitchen is very well stocked--we had brought some kitchen gadgets that we thought we might need, but the kitchen had everything. We did have issues with the refrigerator and the oven, but the management responded quickly and both problems were addressed to our satisfaction. The view out the back is idyllic--straight out to the surf, but set back enough so little ones can't get into trouble. One unexpected thing was the traffic on the beach--vehicles of all sorts drive back and forth. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again!!

Wonderful stay!

Clean, well stocked kitchen, big fridge, comfortable mattress in the master bedroom. There were no complaints about the mattresses from the guests sleeping in the other rooms. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Unbeatable location and view. Literally had everything we needed except for steak knives. Lots of toys and chairs provided for the beach. Appliances are old and need replaced along with needing a good janitorial clean. We loved it and even after 7 days didn't want to leave.
