The house wasn’t cleaned properly either from previous guests or just in general and the pool was closed already for the season even though we had 70s and 80s the whole week and sunny! If I knew the pool was going to be closed, I’d have chose a different property.

Perfect location. Gorgeous backyard view. Peaceful, quiet neighborhood and amenities. Gated community. House is huge. Plenty of room for families. Only gave 4 stars because the home could use some updating, deep cleaning, and power wash. There was dog hair on the carpet and crumbs in the pull out sofa. Small things that didn’t ruin our stay, but housekeeping needs to do a little bit better. We know that these things can be easily missed as dog hair is hard to get up. Also, we felt a little harassed by HOA. Kind of annoying especially when we weren’t the ones breaking any rules. Owners were very sweet and responsive.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Lots of windows for natural light and beautiful view of the lake. The community is quiet and friendly. Home is a quick drive to many beaches and restaurants. We were able to walk to the small grocery store and nice dog friendly restaurant across the street from the community. Communication with the host was great. We suggest bringing your own towels as the ones we paid for were rather small for some of us. We did feel the listing was a little confusing about whether linens / towels were included in rent or provided for an additional fee, but we worked this out with the host in advance of our stay. We did notice several cleaning issues (dust under the beds, bottles from other tenants not picked up by cleaners under bed, coffee pot was really dirty, many pots and pans put away were very dirty, and ceiling fan in the main living room was really dirty) but we brought several of these issues to the owner's attention and we are confident she will address with the cleaning team. We stayed at the end of season so things like marks on the walls and no towel rack in the bedroom were noticed but understood. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home and would consider staying again!

We enjoyed our vacation at this location in Bethany. I've typically stayed in properties closer to the beach and boardwalk in Bethany, but the lakefront property was perfect for my family and me, including our 2 1/2-year-old granddaughter, as well as our dog. The house is spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed cooking together in the beautiful kitchen, coffee and games in the screened porch, views of the lake from various rooms in the house, and the availability of the pool, kiddie pool, pickleball courts, playground, and gym. The house and its amenities provided great alternatives on days we did not wish to go to the beach. Some family members conducted work-related Zoom calls, etc., during the week and used the screened porch and/or the office area in the den to complete their work.The owners, Debbie and Ted, were extremely helpful and responsive regarding any questions we had during our stay. They provided excellent check-in/out instructions, which made both processes easy to complete. We hope to return to this property on future visits to Bethany.

Great Place

This is a beautiful property! We really enjoyed our stay. The complex was great for walking our dogs! The house is beautiful and the property sits right off the pond. I can't say enough good things about the property owners. They had great communication and responded quickly to any questions we had. The location is perfect! The only thing that would make this property even better is to have one more bathroom with a shower. But overall, I loved the rental and enjoyed our stay very much.

Great property in a wonderful area! Nicely decorated and very clean. Lots of great space for family time. We enjoyed the yard that backs up to a lake with a fountain. We enjoyed walks over the lake bridge and watched our egret friend enjoying the sun! Just minutes from the beach too!

A Wonderful Family Gathering Spot

The house was perfect for our 7 adults and 4 babies (ages 8 weeks to 2 1/2). We loved having the pool, toddler pool, tennis court and gym onsite so adults could enjoy while someone stayed home for napping kids. All in all, it worked perfectly for us.

Quiet and relaxing

Property is in a gated residential community and the resident's I met were very friendly. If you’re looking for a community with amenities this is very nice. However you will need a car to drive to restaurants, beach, boardwalks. All accessible within 15-30 minutes north and south of the house. I wanted something away from the crowds but close enough to go when I wanted and this was a great choice.

Perfect location for a holiday gathering!

The rental was perfect for celebrating Thanksgiving with family. The home is lovely....beautifully decorated, plenty of room to spread out, lots of seating, large well stocked kitchen, and nice size yard for our fur babies. Located in a gated community with a beautiful view of pond and fountain. Location was very close to many restaurants, shops, and, of course, the beach : ) . Grocery store conveniently located right across the street. Property manager was friendly, communicative and responded very promptly to questions.

Beautiful Home Not Far From the Beach

Our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful and spacious home not far from the beach! We really enjoyed the screened in porch and the view of the pond and fountain. Family Friendly

With 6 adults and 6 young children we were in the perfect location. The pool was a very easy, lovely walk away and delightful. It was never crowed and allowed for evening swimming. The closeness of the grocery store was a definite advantage for a large group, who seemed to need grocery trips on a daily basis. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Family Get Together

Family from across the country travelled to this fantastic gem of a home for our annual vacation. The house is spacious, the screen room and decks were perfect to sit out and drink coffee on in the mornings or wine in the evening and the kitchen was very well stocked. Speaking of stocked, everyone from our four year old paw patrol rod wielding little guy to our seasoned pros caught fish right off the dock out back. There were really nice sized blue gills and other sunfish and some bass. We were happy with our catches and so were the many Osprey and Herons that we saw. The location of the house is super convenient, close to stores, pharmacies and the beaches. Beaches were super clean and not overly crowded and we went on the 4th of July. You can't go wrong with this house! We will return.

Just what we needed!

We were able to get away with our kids and pups for a few night during the holiday season. It was exactly what we needed. We played games and visited the town of Bethany and Rehoboth. The house was super cozy and spacious. We loved the view of the water and really enjoyed the pool table. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Everything was clean. Definitely book this beautiful place.
