When we first walked in the house , it had a terrible smell and there were 4 bait traps under the sink , counter and refrigerator. Most of the rooms seemed clean enough, but again a terrible smell. The only room that we felt was actually visably dirty was the kitchen and the ceiling fans were filthy. We called Vacasa to tell them about the terrible smell and ask if the bait traps were simply preventative ( 4 bait traps for 10 feet seemed excessive to us). We were told they didnt know if the bait traps were preventative and that they would communicate these issues to the local team and get back with us shortly. Never heard from them. Late Friday nighy I called again and spoke with a rude representative who told us we were just going to have to wait it out for someone to get back with us and deal with it.We drove 10 hrs from out of state to visit our granddaughters and were exhausted. Saturday morning I had to call again and waited another few hours for a call back. They didnt do anything, offer to do anything. They just kept texting me stating they were sorry for the inconvenience and to please communicate any further concerns! We text them over 15 times trying to get assistance. We spent our money and time buying products to help with the smell in the house. We finally got a call back 2 days
in with no solution. We already had to stay
a night there , had already cleaned, etc. Terrible customer service. We will never, never use a VRBO that this company manages!
