Quick family getaway

Spend four days with our 3 20 something year old kids Was perfect for us Beach pool restaurants bars shopping Checked all the boxes House was great all had plenty of room able to sleep comfortably hang out together play games and cook Nothing better than a day at Bethany Beach and then being able to go back to the house and relax in the pool on property Look forward to coming back

Not a Vrbo . Beware of nondisclosed charges from a rental company

I have used VRBO for many rentals and this seemed like a bait and switch . As soon as I paid online ( non refundable) I received a different list of charges from a rental company including Vrbo fees separate from their service fees. I would like Vrbo to refund my service fee because this clearly is not a vacation rental by owner. First time I have had to bring my own linens/ towels / etc. condo was fine except for major ant problem-We didn’t cook any food there because of it Pool area/ club house nice .

nice condo overall

i liked the condo overall but i was disappointed in how sparse the offerings in the house were. for example, you get out of the shower and there is no bath mat in any bathroom! that’s unsafe there is not one bar of soap and one roll of toilet paper in a remote bathroom no hand soap for dishes we stayed in many places and they all offered the basics! maybe a bottle of water … sample size items it was an expensive stay and i felt unappreciated and i welcomed no sugar!! not even packets !

Great family space

Perfect size for a family trip. The condo was clean and well-kept. Nice indoor and outdoor pool. It is pretty far from beach but had no trouble finding parking when driving to the public beaches. Very quiet and relaxing trip!

Good Location Good Amenities

Huge bright condo, great access to the large community pool, etc. Lovely neighborhood with beautiful grounds. Safe for older kids to bike around. Owners provided 3 fat tire bikes which was a MAJOR bonus. Kitchen well stocked, we easily prepared dinner for seven people. **HOPEFULLY the owners will the address the problem with most uncomfortable beds any of us have EVER slept on. All seven beds were in desperate need of quality memory foam mattress toppers and CLOTH waterproof mattress protectors. The crunchy plastic covers currently on the beds are terrible. Our family really loved the days there and really hated the nights.

Great Place!

We just returned home from our family vacation of 10. It was clean, comfy and beautiful! Everyone in the neighborhood was friendly! Pool was great with a view of the bay. Loved the sunset deck behind the tennis courts!

Wonderful "home away from home"

A wonderful place to stay near Bethany Beach - highly recommend. Very clean, great neighborhood within walking distance from beautiful water views, and close proximity to the grocery store. This "home away from home" is beautifully decorated and the multiple bathrooms were a plus. It was so nice to be able to vacation with our sweet dog as well and she loved lounging on the deck watching people walk by and enjoying her vacation as well. The neighborhood is very dog-friendly: lots of new friends were made! We've stayed in many places around Bethany over the years and this was one of our favorites!

Fantastic stay, very nicely appointed

Rental company was fantastic, friendly and helpful, and process was easy. Property itself was really nicely appointed. Very clean, nicely decorated, felt homey with lots and lots of kitchen supplies (flatware, dishes, glassware, pots and pans)- we were extremely impressed by that! An extra frig/freezer in the garage was a bonus! The clubhouse was excellent with playground nearby for the kids. The community was very well maintained. We felt that the unit was more spacious than we expected! You enter on the ground floor but the entire living area is upstairs, with a retractable baby gate at the top of the stairs. There were actually 3 balconies and you could consider 5 bedrooms. The “loft” closes completely and is pretty with a window to outside and blinds to the living room door for privacy. The room with 2 twin beads doesn’t have a window and also the wall doesn’t go all the way to the ceiling, so maybe not as quiet. We all loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!!

The beds were absolutely horrible to sleep on. They had boards under that mattress instead of box springs. Make sure to bring your own sheets and towels. There also were no bath mats on the floor and my granddaughter slipped walking across the floor. The kitchen had great amenities and there was plenty of room for all 5 of us. It’s located on the second floor, which I didn’t realize when we rented it. There is a baby gate at the top of the steps but there’s a desk that is next to the very high stairwell that a child could get on and fall. A second baby gate would be good to block that area off.

Great stay near the beach

Great times and great memories at Oceanviee

Lovely property. Townhome was roomy, clean, convenient to get to area beaches. Lots of parking. Great amenities with both indoor and outdoor pools. Would definitely recommend.

Great location and amenities!

We loved staying at this home. We come to the beaches every year and this has been one of our favorites due to space, location and amenities. We enjoyed the pool/clubhouse every day. Our only complaint is that we knew our dog couldn't be on the furniture ahead of time.

Bayside Review

We had a great time! The property was clean and beautiful. At first we thought it was a two story condo based on the pictures online. I wish the pictures showed the hallway with all the bedrooms. My father-in-law has mobility issues and it would have been good to know beforehand so we could prepare better for him. I also wish the clubhouse weekly rates were included in the rental payments. We had a communication error and thought we had already paid the clubhouse fee only to find out we didn’t. We weren’t expecting to spend an additional 30$/person because we thought it was included in our final payment. Other than those 2 things we had a wonderful time and would rent again!
