    Make Bear Trap Dunes your home base and enjoy a vacation getaway to remember! Situated just 3 miles west of Bethany Beach, this two-story townhome pairs modern comforts with an abundance of resort-style amenities. Book a tee time at the on-site championship golf course, practice your back swing on the shared tennis courts, or make a splash in the indoor or outdoor pool. After fun-filled days, your newly furnished townhome offers ample space to unwind. Stretch out in the living room where an electric fireplace adds ambiance. Kick back with a vacation read or flip channels on the Roku-equipped smart TV, which you'll also find in each bedroom. The chef in your group can prepare recipes in the modern kitchen or on the gas grill. When it's time to eat, eight can sit down for meals between the kitchen bar and the adjacent dining table. If you'd prefer to dine alfresco, step outside to your deck that overlooks the tranquil pond. End your days with cocktails and conversation in the cozy screened porch. RESORT AMENITIES Indoor pool Outdoor pool Kiddie pools Tennis courts Fitness center On-site golf Playground Delaware Accommodations Intermediary License #2024712698 THINGS TO KNOW Two beach umbrellas, a beach cart, a cooler, and a ping-pong table are available for guest use in the garage. One adult bike and one children's bike are provided. Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available. Note: The Bear Trap Dunes Owners Association charges an optional per person fee for guests ages 4 and older for the use of the community’s amenities, including the in-season beach shuttle, pools, tennis and fitness center. This fee varies by the time of year and is subject to change without notice. Guests that opt to purchase amenity passes MUST purchase at the Bear Trap Pavilion. The pools are located at the community pavilion. (The pool located on October Glory is for owner use only.)

The pool was not open for our stay so I cannot properly rate that. The home was clean and the kitchen well-stocked. Would recommend a wine bottle opener. The dishes and cutlery were stocked and cared for. The home was clean and well cared for. Bland decor, not a beachy feel. Would definitely stay again as community is quiet and home is comfortable. Great location. We did not use community amenities.

Comfortable, Clean & Close

This home is well maintained, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed and is a close drive to Bethany Beach. The shuttle is easy to get and the pool and facilities were enjoyable.

Great stay

The house was comfortable, cozy and clean. We enjoyed relaxing with friends and family while there. It’s a very open floor plan with the master downstairs and two more bedrooms upstairs.

Great getaway spot

Great community setting for all ages. Spacious home & enjoyed the many beach towns to visit & shop. Nice amenities for everyone, grandkids learned to play pickle ball! Looking forward to a return visit!

It is a good location. Lock was dead when trying to access the home. It was resolved fairly quickly but then it went dead again. Couch was broken but not a big deal. Overall if was fine for our short beach stay.

Loved this home!

This house was so cozy and clean. So much space for our entire family. The ping pong table in the garage was an added bonus! We usually have to lug our beach chairs from home, but this house comes equipped with them. Would definitely book again

Close townhouse to beach!

Decent place to stay with family and close drive to Bethany Beach (10 minutes). The place was very spacious to fit a large family with plenty of beds for everyone. Good communication with property manager and loved how they were accommodating to accept two more people in our party to stay. My only complaints was the couch was broken upon our arrival and the upstairs bathroom water was a challenge to set. It was either lava hot water or Antarctica ice water, with no in between. The downstairs shower was great but one shower for 10 people just is not feasible. Overall, we had a great weekend and would boom this property for our family again!

nicest unit I've stayed in at Bear Trap in last 8 years

It's somewhat beachy but also has an updated and modern feel. Things are new and attractive.The main bed is king size and very comfortable. (I sleep in a very expensive Tempurpedic bed at home and this worked for me, no motion transfer).

Weekend stay

Stayed a weekend at this property. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Location is great. 10 mins to Bethany Beach and plenty of restaurants and grocery stores too. Ping pong table in the garage is a good touch for families with kids. Plenty of beach chairs to take with you. Quiet neighborhood. Comfy beds. Didn’t get a chance to check out the golf course, maybe on our next stay since I would definitely rent this property again!

Loved this vacation home!

This home is beautiful!! Very welcoming, clean, spacious, stylish, up-to-date modern home. Loved everything about this vacation property! Really felt like a home away from home! You can tell that the owners really care about their property. It is kept up extremely well with top-of-the-line kitchen appliances, beautiful furniture and dercor. Much thought and effort went into making this vacation home what it is. As long as it stay as is - I will always return!! Loved

Short stay at the beach

House fit our needs very well. This was a couple of days but enjoyed the house and location. Sun rise on Friday morning at the beach was great almost had the beach to ourselves. Would recommend this listing to others. Did not do much cooking but look around the kitchen seems like everything needed was there. Happy new year.

Beautiful home

We got there and every amenity and every need was met. The water line leaked and they came the same day to fix it. I would definitely revisit and use vacassa. The home had everything from beach supplies to every pot pan and dish. They gave us all linens and toiletries. The blankets were super soft, the kids loved the bunk beds. Everything was quick and pleasant. T

Glory Days

The condo was spacious; however, the carpets were not swept upon entering. Luckily, I arrived a day before our family arrived, so I swept the whole condo. The property manager was suppose to “make it right” by offering us Xplorie, but it never happened?? Hopefully reimbursement will be rewarded…

Nice townhouse!!

We had a great time at this property! The house was very clean and there was ample space including tons of walk-in closets. There were multiple beach chairs, umbrellas, and even a large ping pong table in the garage. The kitchen had a lot of small appliances including a blender, crock pot and coffee maker. There were a few games but some were missing pieces so we were unable to use them. We noted to Vacasa that there were multiple lightbulbs which needed replacement in the unit. We also noted old water damage on the ceiling of the foyer upon arrival and some damaged blinds in the kitchen.

I don't want you to know how nice it is...

I've been renting for many years at Bear Trap. Some units nicer than others but this was the most up to date, modern one but still with a beachy vibe. The couch was comfy and did not look like it had been sat on by a 1000 butts like some of the older units. Everything was clean and fresh. A few things to know. No shell fish crackers for crab or lobster, no Keurig but otherwise a nicely stocked and organized kitchen with new plates, quality pots and pans and gadgets. There is also a ping pong table in the garage. The unit could stand to have better and more comfortable screened in porch furniture. One more thing, the main bedroom with the king bed had room darkening shades (not real dark) but helped to keep out much of the light. Most units they have blinds that will not darken the room so that was much appreciated. As soon as I can figure out our schedule next summer I am going to put down a deposit!

Nice House

The house was a good size for us. We had five adults and four children. The kitchen was well equipped, and we made several meals and ate in. The screened in porch was nice, but could use new cushions on furniture. We had two parking spots. Other properties I’ve rented, you did not have to go pick up keys at a different location, rather a self check/in. I feel the listing should be changed to not show pool as an amenity but listed as a pool for use with a fee. One reason we booked this house was for the grandchildren to go swimming. What we did not realize it would cost $50 a person for use of pool. With 8 people, we did not plan on spending that much, so grandchildren were very disappointed they could not swim. I had asked if we could get passed for one day, but no one responded, so I assume the answer is no. That is the only reason I would not rebook for next year.

Beautiful property, great location, poor management company

Great location close to the beach (10 minute drive), beautiful property with plenty of room; but it was not well maintained by the management company. I informed the Management company about the condition of the property within the first hour of our arrival. In short, there were a few areas that needed to be cleaned. After 30 text messages, three days later someone arrived to address my concerns. This was after telling me everything had been addressed. Clearly the person on the other end of the text was not well informed; so I sent over 17 photos of all of the areas of concern. The short of it, was the last renters left trash in the garage, which made using the ping pong table impossible. The kitchen was poorly cleaned, I stepped on a shard of glass, that thankfully I was able to pull out of my foot. The patio area was disgusting, and needed to be power washed. There appeared to be mold on the patio furniture, which made hanging out on the patio impossible. We made the best of it, but I will certainly not schedule another property managed by Vacasa. They were impersonal, never even called me, didn't apologize, and seemed indifferent about the condition of the property.
