We checked into the property. The water was running upstairs in one of the bathrooms that could not be stopped. multiple things broken in the house , in addition every bed was outdated like sleeping on a rock . Updates are needed first getting rid of all the beds on the property replacing with proper soft beds.

The unit we stayed in was nice, but there were a few items that should have been addressed before we got there, like the leaking bathtub in the master bathroom. Cleaning was not the best. There were cobwebs on ceiling fans and light bulbs out and no waste paper basket in one of the upstairs bathrooms.

Our family of twelve had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful Bear Trap Dunes townhouse. The home easily accommodated all of us, with spacious and comfortable sleeping arrangements for everyone. It was impeccably clean, tastefully furnished, and clearly well cared for. The owner was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and helpful both before and during our trip, which made the entire process a breeze.Bear Trap Dunes is a great location for golf lovers, but even for non-golfers like most of us, the community offers plenty to enjoy, from pools and fitness facilities to walking paths and more. Best of all, the beach was just minutes away—only 5 minutes to Bethany Beach, and a short drive to both Rehoboth and Ocean City. We took full advantage of all three and loved coming back each evening to this comfortable, welcoming home.It was the perfect retreat after long days of sun, sand, and boardwalk adventures. We highly recommend this property—stay here and you won’t be disappointed."

Better on paper then in Person!!!

When we walked in there was a mildew smell that got better the 3 rd day . The house did not feel clean , the oven inside,refrigerator outside and top microwave outside was dirty !!We could not really play pool because of the way itis set up . You either hit the walls or couch ! pool sticks were terrible . There were not enough pots to make a meal . Could be a beautiful place to vacation. great location but house needs tic. Thank you .

First we emailed the property managers on at least 3 occasions prior to our arrival to get updates on some issues we read through reviews, regarding the Wi-Fi and fees. We did not receive any responses at all. Upon arrival we had to completely clean this place. The bathtubs and showers were filthy- there is dust everywhere- on the walls and ceiling fans. The grill was dilapidated and unusable. Not sure what the fees are for because you are required to bring sheets, towels. toilet paper, paper towels dish soap and anything else besides the bed you can think of. We don’t believe they use a cleaning service and if they do they should get a new one. Overall this place left much to be desired and we would not rent this unit again. Spend a couple more bucks and book a different unit. This place could really use a deep clean. We left feeling stuffy and concerned about the airflow. The house was not COVID clean! Bathroom’s were not cleaned. Bathtubs all looked like they had never been cleaned. I had to scrub them with a brush and still didn’t get them clean enough to bath in. Wore my flip flops while showering. Some of the towel bars were missing in the bathrooms. OMG the stove!!!! Appeared as though it had NEVER been cleaned!!! The place is a lot cleaner now that we were there.

Need repair

The place was very nice. In the master bathroom the water dripped in the tub day & night. The worst was you tried to adjust the water to shower and all you got was hot water the cold water wasn't working. Some of the outlets didn't work and loose outlets where the plug fell out. The hitches on some of your cabinets need repair. These are repairs that should be checked. Kitchen was will stock. My grandchildren loved the game room. We enjoyed the area.

February golf trip

Location and property was great for our golf trip. WiFi was non existent but didn’t impact our stay as we were all happy to unplug. Cable did not work but in all fairness we did not call the property manager to report it as it wasn’t very impactful negatively to our stay. Would definitely rent again for our golf trip.

Nice but....

Location was great. Beach shuttle ran often and pool was nice. Basement with pool table, Foosball and TV was amazing. Beyond that, not so great. Plenty of "utensils " but actual cookware was awful. Not a sharp knife to be found, or scissors, microwave that needed circuit breaker reset after every use. Only cookie sheet was under cleaning supplies. Showers with only hot water that all drip all day. Surfaces clean, but don't look up at ceiling fans or bathroom fans.

Disadvantages of staying at Bear Trap

1. House cleaners came after we checked in 5P and all of our things/baggage/food etc were in the way. How could they clean? 2. Shuttle came at 12noon each day. Had to drive to beach- 15 minutes away, plus parking was a bear! 3. Pool table too big for room, Could not play. 4. King bed was CA King and sheets did not fit 5. Golfers took up all parking spaces near condo. Stated they could park anywhere because they were MEMBERS. One space dedicated in drive way. 6. WIFI almost non-existent and cell service very poor. Had to go outside in front of condo to make/receive phone calls. 7. Lamp in my bedroom nonfunctional, only had overhead on ceiling. Unless you are a golfing family, choose another condo. We will not recommend or ever stay there again.

Place is confident but can be cleaner

The set up is nice and rooms are spread apart if you have multiple family with kids. You don’t hear in the next room. There was mold in one of the bathrooms around the tub and in the ac vents. A funny smell was coming though the ducks down stairs. The back porch shrubs were over grown to eat outside. Needs a real cleaning and a fresh coat of paint couldn’t hurt plus new mattresses.

Good experience overall

Bathrooms could have been cleaned a little better and WiFi service was spotty. We knew this going into it as there were other comments about the WiFi. We didn’t receive a key to open and lock the back door and garage door. This became an inconvenience when we had to park the cars In the back of the property as we had to walk around the entire condo to get to the front door to use the keyless entry. A few times we had to do this in heavy rain. Also, when using the upstairs bathroom faucets the cold water was hot or warm for several minutes until it cooled off. I learned that the hard way when brushing my teeth. Management responded quickly and sent a repair person to fix it but it only helped a little bit and needs to be looked at again. On the positive side it was a nice property in a nice neighborhood and we liked that there was a pool table and foosball table in the lower level. We had 8 people with us and the fact that there was 4 bathrooms was very convenient. Property location was super convenient to get to grocery stores, drug stores, the beach and restaurants within minutes. Overall it was a good stay.
