The house was well worth the drive from Michigan and I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a place to stay near Ocean Springs. Some things to take note of if you plan to stay a week; you will eventually need to buy toilet paper and perhaps laundry detergent if you're doing laundry. We had 3 adults and 4 kids so there was plenty of space. If you have mostly adults though, the pull out sofa and/or rollaway beds may not be their favorite to sleep on, but it works. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of bathroom and beach towels. The cargo elevator was also great! The chairs on the beach were also really nice to have. Our kids enjoyed going out after dark and looking for crabs on the beach. All in all, it was such a nice spring break for us! And the owners were so nice and very easy to communicate with! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your lovely property!

This beach house was a fantastic place to spend a week at. It was perfectly laid out for our family. The open concept allowed for us to cook and play games at the same time. It also offers a comfortable living room for watching movies when we wanted to relaxing in the evening. It has a wonderful covered porch for times when you want to be outside but out of the sun. It was wonderful to have our own beachfront. The sunrises, sunsets, birds, and dolphins were incredible to see. The hosts really thought of everything to make our experience perfect. They were very responsive and provided information for things we might like to do and see while we were there. Downtown Ocean Springs offered boutiques, restaurants, and places to get great cocktails and listen to live music. We visited an alligator sanctuary where we touched an alligator and went on a fun airboat ride. The seafood and barbecue were fantastic! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home. House was very clean and roomy. Beds were very comfortable.The only issue was when we washed our white fabric. The water turned it brown. This was an easy fix but just was not prepared. The quiet beach was a nice peaceful retreat. Biloxi is very close and had plenty to do.

The house was beautiful and the host had the right stuff for everyday use. We didnt need a thing except for food. We had our annual spring break with the kids and Grandparents. Everyone had a great time, from back porch sitting, to kids playing on the beach, water was a little cold but they didnt mind. We will definitely come back.

Such a great place to stay! Host communicated well, place was clean and a welcomed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The private beach brought us and our family many hours of laughter and great conversation around the fire pit and kept our grandkids busy exploring and playing morning and night. Highly recommend!

One thing I loved about the host is that whenever I had a question, they were quick in sending a response.The house was well furnished, and very comfortable, and had good mattresses to sleep on. Even the firepit on the beach was ready for us to use! The only downside was there were overhead lights that were out and needed replacing (lights i couldn't reach.)It is a place I would highly recommend! Hoping to come back again.

From the moment we stepped into this amazing home the view was captivating! We have been to many beach properties and honestly this is one of our most favorite. The home was very clean and Irene & Clay were very responsive with any questions we had. The beach is so close and it’s so very private! Our favorites were the sunrises and the sunsets. Being able to enjoy both was exceptional. The wildlife welcomed us as well as the sun would peak over the water in the distance. This home was very spacious and very well stocked with so much that we needed and were so happy not to have to buy including spices and soaps, cleaning products and even paper products. The beds slept so well and the decor was so wonderful- very beachy with vintage furnishings that just made the whole stay even more perfect. The house has such convenience for unloading luggage or groceries with the lift too. The first day, we booked our second stay! There’s a precious gazebo for morning coffee too and the back porch is so wonderful with a huge swing. Plenty of beach chairs and a fire pit. They thought of most everything. It’s our new sanctuary. We are so blessed to have found this beautiful home. Thanks Irene & Clay! The Sedwick’s

LOVED the lift! Extremely helpful for getting everything up into the house and reverse when leaving.Owners are pleasant and responsive.Setting up 3 TVs, as no cable / satellite provided, was a pain.Power washing of next door house (same owner) was an almost all day event... then the backpack style leaf blowers struck for both houses!Seemed to be in flight path.Gnats.Internet outages.Windows in the two bedrooms on the west side need privacy / blackout curtains... if I can see out, "they" can see in. Also curtains or blinds for back doors... again, a privacy issue.I know this place had nothing to do with it, but road was being repaved all week so had to deal with that heavy equipment noise.NOISY neighbors (three sets of them). The water in the house was atrocious!! It was brown and stunk so bad we had to get an air freshener. The owners informed that it may be brown due to it being well water and the water tables, etc. But the smell... wow! Any future renters, make sure to take drinking water with you!!I just wanted a quiet, relaxing vacation... it didn't happen.It could have just been a fluke week, but for me, after paying the that I did, it stunk... literally and figuratively!

Making memories

This is our second time staying here. This property is just so beautiful and welcoming. We love the layout of the house. Beautiful windows with views of the water. The bedrooms were all tastefully done. The kitchen and baths were stellar. We look forward to another stay.

Loved our stay here! The property is neat and clean with all the amenities you’ll need! The lift made it a breeze to unload and load everything. The outdoor grill made cooking relaxing and enjoyable! We especially enjoyed watching the dolphins and the short trip to Horn Island in our boat.

Beautiful!

Beautiful house with open spaces to spread out. Large dining table seats 10. Huge kitchen with gas stove, 2 full size ovens, plenty of prep and cookware and dishes. Cozy living room with HD TV and reclining sofas- perfect for family movie night. Large porch with swing and rockers for relaxing and wave/bird/dolphin watching. Gas grill for cookouts. Gazebo closer to beach has another swing picnic table. Thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing family vacation!
