Beautiful home with lots of neat design details. Lovely pathway straight from the house to the beach. Was a great space to be with multiple couples to have enough space to spread out. Host Kim was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Would highly recommend.

This home is beautiful and very warm & welcoming we felt right at home. We loved the closeness to the beach and still easy trip into town makes it all work. The family would definitely love to stay here again & as we said the beds are so comfortable! A major plus in our book. Thank you again for making check-in & out so easy. My husband and our little dog had an amazing long weekend at this lovely home! Everything is so clean, and we are both clean freaks, so that is really saying something. Unfortunately our grown son's couldn’t make it, so it was just us in this huge house, but we had an absolutely wonderful stay. We played lots of pool and cribbage, and took lots of longs walks on the beach with our little dog. Kim is a wonderful host and they really have thought of everything in the house. We loved it!

This is a beautiful property. Perfect for a family gathering. Incredibly well-maintained and beautifully furnished. Game room is amazing — and because it’s in basement people can play games late at night without disturbing others in upstairs. Lovely view of dunes. And close to easy hiking in nearby parks

What a wonderful house! We were 6 adults and 3 grand kids and had plenty of room for all of us. This house is impeccably clean and well maintained, and very comfortable. The beach is a short 4 minute walk thru the grasses and the beach itself is fantastic! The host was terrific and made sure we were welcome and taken care of. It was a truly memorable time, with pelicans, eagles, and whales too!

Beautiful home with path to the beach. We all loved how close we were to the beach. Well stocked kitchen, bathrooms, fun game room, comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out. When we needed to contact our host, she responded quickly. This was our annual family vacay and we had a great time. The one thing we could suggest as an improvement would be screens on the windows to keep the bees out and keep the wonderful sea air coming in.

This is a beautiful property! Originally I was a little hesitant due to location (further North than we originally planned) but it turned out to be perfect for our family reunion. Perfect Spot for Family Reunion

We loved our stay here! The house perfect for hosting so many people, every need was met, the manager Kim was amazing and very thoughtful. The kitchen was fully stoked (a rarity at a rental) and it was close to a lot of fun things to take our east coast family to. Highly recommended. The best part is that we were able to share our experience with our furry family as well. Thanks so much for sharing your home!

Fantastic family vacation

We were so fortunate to stay at Blue Skye’s Beach House. We were greeted by four eagles on their perches in the beautiful dunes and grass. The wonderful home provided a relaxing “home-base“ for exploring the coast and was appointed beautifully down to the last detail. On some very rainy days we thoroughly enjoyed just staying in the home together playing games and watching movies. We’ve had a yearly family tradition of visiting the coastal towns of Washington and Oregon for spring break and this home is one of the best, if not THE BEST home in which we have stayed.

Well-Maintained, Clean, Great Location, Comfortable Common Spaces and Bedrooms

Layout of house was great. Nicely furnished bedrooms and well-arranged common areas for meals and relaxing. Our group enjoyed the beach front views and access, as well as the quiet and private location. Kids had a great time in the game room. Kitchen was nicely stocked with a big variety of dishes, cooking utensils, and tools. We hope to return to the home soon!

Super Clean, Well-appointed Beach House

We had a wonderful getaway to this lovely beach home. It accommodated our family so well. Full of games and comfortable spots to hang out, it was the perfect location for our large crew. Check in was very easy with Kim communicating well via email/messaging prior and she generously offered an early check in. She left lovely welcoming touches with a note and gift. The home is located along beautiful dune area just a short walk to the sandy beach and ocean. We loved walking the long beachfront, even on a very windy day. Some of our family members were happy to stay back and relax at the house.The kitchen was the most well equipped kitchen of any home we have ever rented. The abundance of dishes, cooking pans, pots, and appliances really made things very easy. The additional refrigerator on the lower level made things very convenient. The home was very welcoming to our dog and we truly appreciated that. However beyond the dog supplies, you would never know another animal had been in this house. It was incredibly clean and in fantastic condition!The beds were heavenly. Truly some of the most comfortable places we have laid our heads, We loved having so many full bathrooms giving lots of space for all of our adult kids to spread out. We will happily rent this home again. We would like to see the town of Longbeach in the summer on a sunny day. Thank you Kim for hosting us.

Beautiful Home with Beautiful Views

This was the perfect destination for our family and we will most likely be back! The home is very large and immaculately set up, but still cozy and comfortable. We have rented beach houses before and this was by far the most thoughtful and well-curated setup we have had, the hosts thought of everything! We were surprised to find tons of sand toys, beach towels, clam cannons, wagons, pretty much anything you need for the beach. Anything we could have asked for and more was available in the kitchen, a great variety of high quality pots and pans, small appliances, knives, utensils, were provided and organized.The porches and balconies give you such a nice view with plenty of seating for relaxing outside. The basement was such a treat for our kiddos, my tweens especially loved the huge DVD library, the foosball table, and the basketball set. The basement gave a safe and fun place for the older kids to hang out and have fun away from the grown-ups and they had a blast. We found the walk to the beach peaceful and a really nice way to start the morning. We especially loved sitting in the upstairs bedrooms and balcony watching the bald eagles hunting above the dunes.The host was very responsive and helpful. You can tell they take pride in their home and want you to have a great stay.

Winter get away

Blue Skies Beach house is a wonderful place to stay. There were 10 of us and we had plenty of room and comfy king size beds. The view is great - across the dunes to the ocean. The kitchen is well stocked and the host was very easy to communicate with. We had a great time!

Much better than described

Three generations with partners and kids easily fit …plenty of room for personal space, together space and small groups space. Such a fun set of games downstairs, the living was set up so all had space on the the cushy sofas, the square table that fit all the was a great way to have a meal in which the group could all speak to each other. The kitchen is the beat equipped kitchen in any rental property any if us had used. We did a lot of cooking (and a lot of eating) so that was a huge bonus. The hostess was super accommodating and communicative. We would definitely return and highly recommend this property.
