Our second time staying at this wonderful house. Owners are super responsive and so easy to work with. The house has everything to make staying there a breeze. Great kitchen amenities; ice maker, every appliance and gadget you could think of. Even a cooler to take nice cold beverages to the pool! We had starter soaps, paper towels, TP, laundry detergent, lovely bath and hand soaps, and even some welcome Goodies to enjoy. Sheets and towels in home mean less to pack on our long road trip to OIB.The house was spotless on our arrival. Beds are very comfy. Since our last rental 4 years ago the owners have made great updates to two of the bedrooms giving even more space to great bedroom set up for our extended family. Golf cart was delivered with ease and we took advantage of the ability to stop around the island for coffee and food. Lots of time spent at the pool and on water with kayaks. Would highly recommend staying at this house, where owners go above and beyond to guarantee a wonderful visit to their beautiful home. Thank you for sharing it with us!!

The Gathering

Everything was perfect! Check-in …so easy! The host was so kind and welcoming.The decor is delightful and yes it is true - from every review I read - and seeing it for myself this house is spotless! …..The kitchen/pantry is stocked with everything you could possibly need to prepare any meal. The pool was also clean. Golf cart was a big hit after we all tuckered out from bike riding. Fishing (I brought my own poles) and crabbing was really a hit with kids. Being allll together in this magical place created memories we will cherish forever…

This house looked great on the website but was even better in person! Everything you could imagine needing for a week’s stay was there! The kitchen is stocked better than my own! We enjoyed the kayaks and bicycles and the included golf cart was wonderful! The house was clean and beautifully furnished throughout.The location is right near all the action on the island. Honestly the best experience we’ve had at OIB! Thank you to our gracious hosts, Bob and Sharon, who checked in prior to arrival and throughout the week to make sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying ourselves.

Fantastic week!

Great home that has it all! The location is perfect for so many restaurants and activities. Hosts were so nice and easy to work with. In building this house, they have thought of everything to make it inviting and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen made cooking for a large hungry group easy. Kayaks and bikes were a fun way to exercise every day. Sunset view over looking the sound from their back porch is incredible. 10 out of 10!

Great marsh view home in OIB!

We stayed 8 nights with our adult children. The property is as advertised - spacious, clean, well appointed, everything in working order, like new really. The golf cart that comes with rental is a game changer. Easy to get to beach via public access. Can’t think of a kitchen appliance that is lacking (for example, they have a panini press).

High Expectations - Met & EXCEEDED!

1. From booking to day of departure, the owners were very engaged and communicated regularly and professionally2. The home itself was all that we had hoped for and expected based on pics and feedback. It actually exceeded our high expectations in every way. 3. The location is outstanding and features some of the best views on the island. The waterway and marsh sre prominent in the foreground and backed-up with Sharky’s, 59 Causeway Grill, the OIFC & OIFC Fish Company, the OIB bridge, and in the evenings, the amazing sunsets. Lots of viewing of boats coming and going, as well as the marsh birds.4. This was an anniversary getaway for just my wife and me, but this house was designed and thoughtfully outfitted for multi-families with kids. 5. This home is beautifully decorated and the owners have thought of EVERYTHING. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked, bathrooms have everything you’d need. The kayaks, bicycles, adequate pool chairs and chaises, huge decks on both floors, etc., etc.. The pictures don’t even do it justice!6. We will be back!

Thanksgiving 2024

We stayed at this beautiful beach house in Ocean Isle Beach over Thanksgiving weekend, and it was the perfect place for a large family gathering. With my parents, wife, son, sister, and her family all together, the house offered plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy quality time. One great feature was the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking easy for Thanksgiving dinner. It was appropriately sized for a big group, with ample counter space, cookware, and appliances. Another highlight of our stay was the dock on the canal, where I spent some time fishing with my son. Although the fish weren’t biting, we still had a great time together. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed for larger groups. There were plenty of seating areas for meals and lounging, and the layout allowed for both privacy and togetherness.

Beautiful House with Amazing Location

It's a beautiful house with tons of space and loaded with amenities (including an elevator). Beautiful sunset views over the intercoastal waterway and bridge with a peek of the ocean as well. The Coastal Carolina Museum is down the street so it's extremely close to OIB's "downtown" area. A couple of times I need to ask Bob a question and he responded immediately and he even checked in to make sure everything was well. Great trip. Great house. Couldn't ask for more.

Wonderful Experience Again!

We were fortunate to stay in this beautiful house again this year with our family. It is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Bob was very responsive to our questions. We made many memories agin in this house.

Beautiful View

What a beautiful property and home! We had a large family stay for 6 days. There was plenty of room and everything needed to have a wonderful stay. Plenty of space and we needed nothing but food. Owner has thought of everything for a seamless stay. Very responsive and friendly. We plan to book this one again in the future. Thank you!

Mountains to Sea: Five Stars with us!

This property lived up to the reviews we had read. Not your typical, old and worn-out beach rental, with family photos and old furniture (you know the kind) in every room, but in every detail well thought-out and decorated as you would want your own place to be. The kitchen was top-notch with everything you need: good knives, an electric griddle, a large pantry for all the food the families want to bring, etc… We had a great week. The house has fantastic outdoor areas from the pool (in the shade mostly) with a TV there for the guys, to the deck(s), The property owner, Bob, was responded asap, with any questions that arose. It felt like he really cared that we have a great time & that meant a lot to us!!!

Has it all!

This property was wonderful and had everything you would want while on a beach vacation. The pool, dock, and elevator were a great addition. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was a huge plus! We enjoyed our stay and loved the sunset views across the canal.

Family Celebration

Absolutely wonderful! The house is extremely clean and orderly with so much to do and entertainment in walking distance. The golf cart made getting to the beach a a breeze and the kitchen actually had sharp knives! Bob called when we arrived to make sure everything was ok and is so nice and responsive. We would definitely book again!

Wonderful Family Week in a Beautiful House

Family trip

The house was wonderful!! We paid extra to have the pool heated which was nice especially after it rains. Bob was very responsive and a gracious host! I would definitely recommend this house!!!!
