Property was an excellent choice for our family with size of home, amenities , pool and easy access to beach. Ocean isle is a great, quiet island with plenty of restaurants, shopping and kid friendly places to go. Host was great!

Pelican’s Nest was a really good choice. We’ve been renting different houses at Ocean Isle for 5 years and the layouts are similar but this was the best house by far. The house was very clean. The outdoor areas were wonderful and the pool was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The views of the ocean and the intercostal waterway were fabulous. The distance to the beach was not far and I really enjoyed being at this end of the island. Check in was easy and I really liked the fact that the keyless entry doors automatically locked behind us. Nice safety feature. Rose was very responsive when we had a question and checked in on us to make sure all was going good. All seven of us (ages 12-76) agreed we are coming back to this house next year!

Impressive house in a great location

We rented OIB-East End in July 2025. The house is very clean and well supplied. Everyone in our family was impressed with the quality of beds, furniture, supplies, etc. The garage space is filled with toys, games, chairs, bikes, etc. The pool is a good size. Really had everything you can want for a family vacation. It is two short blocks from the beach. The top level has views of the intracoastal waterway, the ocean, and an inlet (three different views). The communication and attention by the owner was excellent.It was a great place to stay.

This beach house is perfect. The host has thought of everything. The beds are super comfy, the kitchen is so well-stocked, the 2nd floor area is perfect for kids with a bunk room, ping-pong/air hockey table & small area with a fridge for snacks. This level also has 2 bedrooms, perfect for the parents of those kiddos! The top level has a primary suite with a master bathroom shower that is huge! There is another good-sized bedroom on this level. The open concept kitchen, dining, and living area was perfect for our family of 10. We chose to use the elevator, which was a blessing to us grandparents! We loved the pool and tiki bar area. The house is so close to the beach and from certain spots you can see the ocean. It is an easy walk to public access. The host says there are plenty of beach/pool toys, chairs, bikes, etc. She isn't exaggerating! Also, the host is always available for any questions/needs you might have.I can't say enough good things about the Pelican's Nest. Our family would definitely stay there again!

Love this house!

This is our second year staying at this house! It's just a great location being so close to the beach access and that it's towards the end of the island so it feels a little more private and not crowded. Definitely will stay again!

Friends vacation

We had our annual friends trip here and the house was perfect. Each family had their own room and we loved the bunk room for the kids! Loved the seating area under the house by the pool! Great location. Easy access to the beach.

Vacation at Ocean Isle Beach

It was a wonderful place to claim as our vacation home... Everything was very clean and only a small walk from the beach found many shells and had an awesome time...The neighborhood was great and would love to return maybe next time in late summer although we had a great time the next time would love to come when it's warmer!!!

Family Vacation

This home is beautiful! Very clean! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Beds were comfortable. Deck furniture was lovely. Beach access was close and wheelchair accessible. And it was so nice having beach chairs, a beach wagon, and bikes provided! It was a perfect week!

Beautiful home with nice touches

This home was immaculate when we checked in and had so many extras you don’t typically see such as an out door refrigerator and blue tooth stereo system. Tons of beach and pool toys so you can leave all but your favorites at home. Nice welcome package that was very thoughtful. We would definitely recommend this place and stay again.

A new family tradition!

An amazing home, in an amazing location, with an amazing host. Everything Rose did in the months leading up to and throughout our stay was perfect. By far the best host I have stayed with on ANY platform. The house was immaculate. Everything was clean, well taken care of and accurately reflected in the listing. We had infants all the way through grand parents and all ages were able to enjoy the amenities, most notably, the incredible pool. We will definitely be back, as this will be a new family tradition for our extended family. Book without hesitation!

The Perfect Week!

We enjoyed our week at Pelican's Nest to the max! Our family has spent a week together every year on the coast, and this is our first trip to OIB. Not only did we love the accommodations, but the family friendly atmosphere was second to none. When we first got there the code did not work but owners quickly resolved that. We were pleasantly to surprised at how beautifully decorated and stocked the house was! We like to cook a lot and found the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. A couple of times we received a text reminding us to reach out if we needed anything and that was comforting. Honestly, we could not have enjoyed our week any more than we did! Highly recommend this jewel!

Great family holiday!

Loved Pelicans Nest! Great proximity to the beach, lots of chairs and beach items, plus bikes. Pool and outdoor setup was great. House layout was perfect for kids to lounge on one level and adults to cook and hang upstairs- kitchen was perfectly stocked as we like to cook a little! Communication with homeowner was seamless leading up to the vacation. We will be back!!

Great house to gather

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The kitchen and main living area was gorgeous and although it was too chilly to enjoy in the pool and deck space, it had a really spacious outdoor hangout space we would have been glued to had it been warmer. The bedrooms were a good size and we loved that it offered two living spaces so both kids and adults could enjoy their time. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean and in working order. The kitchen was well stocked and host was responsive. We would definitely stay there again.

GREAT VACATION STAY

It was a quick getaway for a family wedding, so we didn’t get much time to spend on the beach, but it’s a short walk away and can be seen and heard (the waves) from the deck! The owners have just about anything and everything you can think of, available to use. I hope to go back and rent this same house in the near future

Great house in a beautiful location

Loved our 10 days at this house. It’s beautiful with tremendous amenities. The walk to the beach is three minutes onto a wonderful location with lots of space. Ocean Isle has lots to do so we really never left the island. We did rent a golf cart to make it fun to get around for the kids. Hope to come back soon to stay!
