The house is absolutely beautiful and communication with Jim could not have been easier or better. Beautiful Historic Victorian Home

This is a great home in a beautiful Victorian style neighborhood. Close to shopping, the boardwalk and beach. The home is meticulously maintained and well stocked with anything you might need. The owner provides complete and detailed instructions that cover all areas of the home and neighborhood. My wife and I and our adult children stayed here for a family wedding, and all of my kids and their spouses loved the house.

Pinch me, I must be dreaming!

Chadwick Cottage was even more beautiful than the pictures and well situated for both the beach and all that Ocean Grove has to offer. The kitchen was perfect for cooks like me and had everything one would need to prepare meals. The owner was responsive and the house information book (I called it the Bible) had the answer to any question you might ask. A wonderful place to stay!

Our favorite rental yet!

The Chadwick is absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations in every way. James was very communicative and provided detailed information on all of the features of the home. The location was perfect and an easy walk down to the beach or over to Asbury Park. It was comfortable and spacious for our large family and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking family meals together. Highly recommend this property and we look forward to staying here again soon.

Outstanding

My family has voted this home to be the absolute favorite of all the homes we've rented over the years. This is a charming, meticulously maintained home that is loaded with character. We found it to be spacious and comfortable, and several of us could be working in the kitchen at the same time. We loved the 2 porches and the fireplaces. The location is amazing; we could easily walk to the beach, boardwalk, and downtown. Our host couldn't have been more helpful, communication was right on point. This is the first time i can say that the place was even better than the photos!!

Chadwick Cottage is a gorgeous home that offers first class accommodations in one of the most charming towns on the Jersey Shore. The home is very comfortable stay and has charming decor. Great location. Very clear and accurate communication with owner. One of the best home rental experiences our family has ever enjoyed.

Stunning House

This house is gorgeous, immaculate, impeccably decorated, and extremely well-appointed. It has everything you need for a beautiful and relaxing beach week. The location is a block off of the "main" street and a relatively short walk to the beach. We spent a week there for a family vacation with our three young-adult children, some of whom were coming and going from Manhattan (easy access) and also had a 2 day visit from my 78 year old mother (who made the walk to the beach but it was a little long for her ....so a couple of times we drove her down and picked her up....very easy to do so).

Fabulous Retreat

Our family of six adults were in Asbury for a wedding and this was a terrific place to stay. It was very comfortable with lots of privacy and a great location. There were ample amenities such as toiletries, linens and kitchenware which always helps to make a family gathering more enjoyable. We had such a fun time!

Gorgeous retreat

Living here is like living on a movie set. The interiors and furnishings are just perfect. Combine the beautiful surroundings with a great location -- close to both parts of Asbury and Ocean Grove beachfront -- and you've got a relaxing vacation for all involved.

Wonderful Stay!

We've been renting in Ocean Grove for several years now and this has been, by far, the best property. A very comfortable and well-cared-for home. Location was perfect as well (just close enough to Asbury and just close enough to the beach). We are a family of 3, so the house felt generously sized. However, I could see 2 small families (or 1 large) one being quite comfortable as well.

Chadwick Christmas

We spent a family Christmas at Chadwick Cottage, and it was a total delight from start to finish. Had two warmish days to walk on the boardwalk, two fireplaces inside to gather round, a fantastic kitchen to prepare meals in, four comfortable beds upstairs. Lovely home for our Thanksgiving Weekend!

Chadwick Cottage in Ocean Grove is a really lovely home, mixing old world architecture with modern touches and conveniences. The artwork, books, magazines and history of the house made for good conversation and an interesting and homey feel. The furnishings are comfortable, clean and inviting. The kitchen is so well-equipped! We cooked Thanksgiving dinner there and whatever I may have forgotten from home or overlooked, we found in one of the many pantries, cupboards and cabinets. The appliances are all newish, modern and very clean. We loved being a short 3 block walk to the beach and boardwalk and town with its shops and restaurants. We walked a short distance into Asbury Park via the boardwalk. Jim, the owner, was so nice in our dealings, and when I needed him for a passcode, he answered immediately. The house is exactly as represented on the VRBO website. This was a very positive experience and we hope to rent there again in the spring!

It had everything we needed...it was perfect.

This was a wonderful place to stay for the week with a group of 7. The house was gorgeous, and it was stocked with everything we needed to have for our beach vacation. It was within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. A favorite was the circular dining table where we bonded as a family and roared with laughter playing board games. Amazing week in Ocean Grove!

We’ve rented for years in Ocean Grove And Chadwick cottage is by far the best. Jim has thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. The house is gorgeous and really feels like a beach getaway. The house is fully stocked with everything you’ll need to hit the beach, cook a fabulous meal or just relax at home. The beach is a nice walk down Mt Hermon. The location was perfect. One block to Main Street to get coffee, eat, shop and a 5 minute walk to Asbury across a bridge right onto Cookman Ave. Was a perfect week!! We’ll be back!

Several of us stayed at Chadwick Cottage and had a wonderful time. The house is extremely comfortable and the location is second to none in that area. It was very hot when we visited and the house stays perfectly cool with the window units, we were all very happy. Beautiful Queen Anne style home, lots of room, large kitchen, walkable to beach and town.

My family celebrated Christmas at Chadwick Cottage in Ocean Grove. We have visited the town many times, and love walking along the beach, seeing the lovely Victorian homes. Staying in December was new, and the family enjoyed it all - exploring Asbury Park, walking along the beaches, making meals together in the lovely big kitchen. The owner was great to work with, and provided a very thoughtful guide to, for example, understanding the heating system, using the dish washer, finding logs for the fireplace along with recommendations for activities and restaurants nearby. This worked so well, I look forward to coming again!
