This was a beautiful rental in a very convenient location. It was right nextdoor to Seacrets, a bar/restaurant that we were recommended by friends. It was walking distance from the beach, and it's just far enough to avoid a lot of the main tourist traffic. The rental was cleanly and the the hosts were very kind. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking to visit ocean city. I would definitely stay here again, no questions asked.

Had a great stay! It was only a 30 second walk to the beach!! Also perfect because the property has bay access which was great for watching the sunset. Everywhere we wanted to go was either walkable or a very short drive. Dumser’s is next door as well as sunsations- both walkable. The property had all pots and pans / silverware / everything needed for making dinners/breakfast. Great view of bay while drinking morning coffee. Linens and towels included. We would stay here again!

The property was exactly as expected. We enjoyed our time there. The only note would be to give a detailed explanation in the listing of where to find the elevator. We didn’t find it until we carried our stuff up 5 flights of steps!

The location is perfect. Close to the beach, restaurants and family fun. I was a little disappointed with this specific condo for a few reasons…. 1. It said there was a pull out couch to sleep two. The couch did not pull out. It was more like a futon. The picture of the couch was accurate but wording deceiving. It was uncomfortable for my son to sleep on. 2. Many complaints upon entry such as ripped screen for sliding door on balcony, mold in shower, holes in the ceiling. Communication was great and excellent spot to be in but not likely my family will stay in this specific unit if we return.

We had a nice view of the bay and sunset , the beach was across the street we were right next to Secrets Restaurant and the place was clean which is very important to us we would stay there again

Upon entering this unit, all seemed great but step inside to floor boards coming up, mold in showers, 3 broken coffee makers, broken ice machine, unusable pots and pans, no storage for groceries, futon like a college dorm not a sofa bed, cot no one would use and manager that refused any compensation for inconvenience of not being able to make coffee in the morning, sending my husband to borrow pan from friends, ants in the kitchen that was supposed to be addressed and never was. The lack of communication from the staff at Seaside was terrible. If you dont plan on cooking or using more then 3 beds, maybe this works but not worth the money. Washer and dryer huge plus

convenient but could be better in other ways

Its was a a great location! Close to bars & fin things to do. However, inside the unit— the sofa bed is very uncomfortable, the floor would’ve been better. The cleanliness of the provided comforters & pillows were pretty poor. The couch had random stains on it…Overall I would recommend this place mostly. Honestly if it was cleaner it’d be 5 stars across the board.

The operators were friendly and helpful, but the property was run down and falling apart. The flooring and wallpaper were held on with tape. There were holes in the walls and ceilings. Also, the sofa was worn out and uncomfortable. We could see all cable channels in the guide, but we were blocked from everything other than regular broadcast channels. Lastly, the parking spaces were so tiny we could barely get the car in and out or open the doors when other cars were next to us. I wouldn't recommend this property until some renovations are made.

The best of both worlds the beach in the bay

The best of both worlds the beach in the bay Centrally located boardwalks downtown the beach is just a few short blocks away less than two blocks to be exact the bay with three or four blocks away you can go parasailing or jet skiing plenty of restaurants and great food establishments. That’s a great places to have cold drinks and some appetizers and of course crabs are a specialty in Maryland. Boogie boarding was fun the waves were righteous would recommend to a friend a family member or a Stranger Nice Pl., Ocean City, MD

Not always what it appears to be

From the photos, the condo looks updated, but the wood flooring is lifting, the transition to the kitchen tile is gorilla tape. There were ample plates and glasses, but a lot were dirty and had to wash to use. Lack of dvd players and smart tv is rough on a young child, only about 10 networks to watch, thank goodness for the olympic coverage, and netflix on my phone. Not kid friendly condo. Love Wight Bay area, near Secrets, but may start looking elsewhere to stay in future.

Great view, mediocre condo

Pros: View from balcony No keys needed, code on door Location to beach. Easy walk Well stocked kitchen Building is kept up and cleaned daily Cons: The update was done on an EXTREME BUDGET. Corners were cut for sure. Need new toilets There was a leak in the master bath and it was known before we checked in because a pan was collecting the water. Mentioned to Seaside vacation, but no one came by to fix it. Just came by to look at it. The rollaway bed and the couch are poor options for bedding. Luckily I had teens with me. If all adults were there and you had 6 ppl 2 would be miserable. The owner doesn’t pay for full cable so there weren’t any good channels for the teens to watch. Thank goodness for phones. Closets were a mess. No organization and no extra space for ppl who are renting. I didn’t let any of the above ruin my trip, just annoyed that the description of the condo doesn’t match up with the actual results of what you get. I would NOT rent this condo ever again, but I would rent from someone else in the building.

Great location

This unit is in a wonderful complex located in a great part of town. This unit has been updated on a low budget by a half ass contractor. Many items need to be addressed. Overall it served its purpose and provided us with A great weeks vacation in Ocean City. We will return to Wight Bay but unlikely to stay in this unit again.

This place is Beat!

Not the cleanest unit. New cleaning service is needed! New handyman is needed! Poor quality beds and furniture. Sofa is not really a bed. Good for college kids.....

Looks better in the pics

The place was comfortable and enough to make our stay enjoyable, the best of it is that its right next to the best party place in town. Definitely looks better in pictures, it's an old apartment with really bad finishes, they made the best out of it on a budget I guess. They let us check in early which was convenient for us and we could easy communicate with the agency as well.

Convenient location

Owners responded quickly! Convenient location to lots of restaurants, bars, and kid friendly activities. Pool was right on the bay and we had it all to ourselves. Balcony view was very nice. Having the keyless entry was nice for checking in and out. One stop shop.

Ocean City MD Condo

The condo looks better in the pictures than it was in person. Some things need repair or replacement. The flooring isn't properly installed and very noisy to walk on. The beds are squeaky. The couch in the living room is not comfortable. I wouldn't recommend it for sleeping on. The closets are crammed with junk and are not usable. The kitchen is decently stocked and we had what we needed. Having a door code rather than keys was convenient. The check in and check out times are very inconvenient. 5 pm is very late for check in, and 9 am is way too early to check out. For the price, we should have had a full Saturday in the rental. By the time we were able to check in and after multiple trips lugging our stuff up 5 flights of stairs we felt a bit gipped of the Saturday. We only discovered the elevators, by chance, 2 days after we checked in. The location of the condo is ok. Hard to find at first since the Wight Bay buildings are behind the princess bayside. It's not in the middle of everything, but was quiet, which was nice. We were able to drive to whatever we wanted to do in 10 to 15 minutes. The unit was relatively clean overall. Parking was convenient, as were the in unit laundry machines. It's inconvenient that there is no bathroom outside of the bedrooms. Anyone staying on the couch has to go into one of the bedrooms to use the bathroom. Not as big a deal during the day, but not great at night when trying to sleep. It was a short walk to the beach. However, the beach area is not close to the boardwalk and there are no public restrooms on that part of the beach, so we had to walk back to the condo for restrooms. We paid for linen package, which was fine. The linens were a bit cheap and scratchy, but it was still better than having to buy them since the bed sizes are different than what we have at home. It took us a bit of walking around to find the pool, which is inconveniently placed for those on this condo's side of the buildings. Some owners were very nice and helpful. However, some owners we encountered were snobbish and rude to us as "only renters." The rental company should have been more informative about the location of the condo, the elevators, pool, etc. Also, due to covid, I had been trying to contact the rental agent for over two weeks regarding cancelation deadlines and didn't receive a response until AFTER the window to cancel with a full refund had passed. I won't use them again.

A little disappointing.

Overall the condo had everything we needed and is in a good location. However, it looked as though it wasn't cleaned when we arrived. The decor was very nice but parts of the condo were shoddy.
