Perfect Family Vacation

It was our first time using Vrbo and we hit the jackpot for our family vacation! From the start, Roger and Vanessa were quick to answer all questions we had and kept in touch throughout our stay. The condo was perfect! Location, cleanliness and overall accommodations were better than we could’ve asked for! We can’t wait to book again!

Almost perfect!

Amazing location! Overall we loved the space and proximity to the beach and activities. You can walk to restaurants, mini golf, ice cream, etc. We had a great vacation! I really wanted to give this five stars, but there were a couple of issues: 1) we found dirty silverware in the drawers-with food on it from a previous user- and their old laundry. It wasn't happy, although not the end of the world-we washed it-life happens. 2) one of the showers was out of order for most of the trip. The owner didn't message until our evening of departure on the 4th night. Otherwise, it is true that you have to bring your own bedding- but that wasn't that big of a deal. My teen loved having the loft to stay in! If the shower had worked, and the dishes weren't a mess-this would have been 5 stars!

Easy access to the beach

Overall, we had a great time. The condo is located at a quieter part of OCMD where the beaches aren’t as crowded—perfect for our 2 year old to run wild. We had some minor issues during our stay; a damp, dirty towel from the previous tenants was still hanging up in one of the bathrooms when we arrived, the sliding shower door on the upstairs bathroom did not open or close—which wasn’t a huge deal for us as we used the other bathroom downstairs—and the noise the sliding glass door to the deck made were some of the issues we encountered. Nothing major, but issues that could use some attention from the host.Our week started a little rocky due to some issues with the AC units. The first day, the unit in the downstairs bedroom wasn’t working. This was due to the battery powered thermostat being dead, leaving the room to be set at 75. We got batteries and replaced them. The other units made a horrendous noise every few minutes. The noise was so loud, my wife and I slept in small spurts as it kept waking us up. We brought the issue up the first night with the host who said they’d call a HVAC tech in the morning. Two days passed and we were still having these issues and no tech had been out. When approached again about this, we didn’t hear back for almost 48 hrs. At this point, we had one more night in our trip. While I’d hope nothing was meant by it, previous reviews stating similar noise complaints with the AC has us feeling like they were putting us off to avoid a service fee.

We had a fantastic stay here. This was a perfect location for my family of 4 which included a 3 and 6 year old. They loved staying in the loft and having their own space and us parents loved it too! We were grateful for the provided baby gate to place at the top of the stairs. The pictures are a very accurate representation of the property and it is literal steps from the beach. The kitchen also has all you need for cooking and there are plenty of beach accessories provided. Already dreaming of our next visit!

Quiet after long concert days

We stayed here during the recent country calling concert and it was perfect because it was at the opposite end of Ocean City and allowed for some quiet after long days we got back and enjoyed some quiet near the beach. The host was very responsive throughout the process. Just a few small suggestions would be to have a screen door for the slider door so the sounds of the ocean could be enjoyed without leaving the door wide open and maybe a new mattress in the lower level bedroom.. Overall we were very happy with our stay and as I mentioned the host was responsive through the entire process

Amazing location!

We chose this rental based on proximity to the beach as well as our extended family just one building away. The host was wonderful with communication before and throughout our stay. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen, cleaning supplies, and even mini soaps in the bathrooms. Our kids loved having the loft to themselves and it allowed us great space to spread out. The unit also had ample beach supplies and toys for our use. The deck was our favorite spot for coffee and drinks in the evening with a view that can't be beat! Our only complaints (which were minor) were the AC unit was very loud in the bedroom (we had to turn it off to sleep) and we would have liked to have some throw pillows or throw blankets on the couches for relaxing in the evening. We understand the desire to keep accessories to a minimum on the advanced cleaning protocol (I'm guess still from covid?) but we did miss those comforts. Overall a great stay!

Perfect Beach Getaway - Steps from the Sand with Stunning Ocean Views

Our stay at this beautiful North Ocean City condo was nothing short of magical. The top-floor unit offers breathtaking ocean views from the living room and balcony, making it the perfect spot for morning breakfast and coffee. The beach is just a few steps away, and the surrounding area is filled with restaurants, shops, and activities, all within walking distance. The condo is well-equipped, clean, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches. The kids loved the spiral staircase and the surfboard decor. We felt right at home and appreciated the peace of the neighborhood. It’s clear the hosts take great pride in maintaining the property, and their attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend it for a relaxing beach family escape!

Location is perfect with proximity to favorite restaurants, Beach access and general peace and quiet. Condo is just the right size with all of the amenities. Place is affordable and I am recommending it to my friends and family.

Great property in a great location!

This condo is very nicely furnished/decorated and was absolutely perfect for our family of four. Our kids, ages 9 and 11, loved the upstairs bedroom/loft area. Two full bathrooms, a designated living area, separate master bedroom, full kitchen, and washer and dryer set this condo apart from your typical hotel suite. The balcony with ocean views and plenty of seating was one of the highlights for me. The location can't be beat- extremely close and easy beach access, and while it's not in the heart of Ocean City (the boardwalk is about a 15 minute drive away), it's actually really nice to be in a less-populated, quieter area, while still being close to many restaurants, shops, and a grocery store nearby. The only real downside was having to bring our own towels and bedding. From the property description, it seems like these used to be provided until covid, when everyone needed to bring their own. I think it's safe to say four years later that this is no longer necessary, and packing those takes up a ton of room and is quite a hassle. Rental companies are available for guests to use at an extra cost, but obviously it's much easier to have them already at the property. Overall it was an absolute treat to stay here and we would definitely reserve the property again if we decide to return to Ocean City MD!

Very Relaxing!

Communication with owners was great. Love the location and the property; condo was lovely. Loved sitting on the balcony. The reason for the 4 stars was only cosmetic - black mildew around showers; caulk possibly needs to be redone or cleaned better? Just a little offputting. Overall, very nice and enjoyable. We will be back!
