We saw this listing and the price was fair. We arrived on a Sunday and were able to get our parking pass easily. They only allowed us to have one assigned parking space. We had two cars, there is Municipal Parking 2 blocks down (a short walk). When we got to the room, it was fairly clean at first glance. The kitchen appliances were updated since the pictures were taken on the listing. The master bath shower curtain had mold on it. The sliding glass door was near impossible to open. There was so much sand in the track (assuming that was the issue). The vents had dust balls in them. We needed to use the pull out sofa and when we removed the cushions from the couch, there were crumbs all in the bed and the bed was broken. When we laid on it, it was sitting at an angle, we put the cushions under the opposite end to hold the bed up. The air conditioning unit is in the bunk bed room and was very loud at night. Also, the closet in the master bedroom was stuffed with furniture that when we opened it to put our hanging clothes inside, the furniture fell out of the closet. I sent a message to the management company. They did call and ask if they could come and fix the issues but we had too many plans. We enjoyed our stay at Golden Sands and they have a lot of amenities and a short walk to the beach. Also, I had called ahead of time to ask if they provided pots and pans for cooking, they said they did not, but they did. We would stay there again, hoping it would be cleaner next time.
