Perfect beachfront for family

With a baby on board and grandparents we wanted to keep things as easy as possible and this rental provided everything we needed -- beachfront, plenty of chairs and toys, kitchen equipped with everything (including air fryer!), and linens included. We played with the games on a rainy night. I enjoyed some mom time on the patio and balcony. The A/C was promptly adjusted when I asked for help. It was a wonderful time at the beach for us and we'd love to be back!

Amazing property with beautiful beach and ocean views! Our family enjoyed our time at the beach here. It had everything we could have needed and was exactly as described. The beach was clean and family friendly. Meri was a great host! Highly recommend her place!

Great Place

We had a great time at this location. It was located right in front of the beach and offered access to numerous nearby restaurants and shops. The place was clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Check-in was easy, and Meri was very good at communicating.

Awesome, even though some, not all, neighbors were not understanding of others

This was my 1st experience, renting out a vacation home/airbnd. And it deserves 10 stars really, because of the property and the host. Meri is the greatest, and her property, I can just say, it was serenity for me, perfect. My plan was to have a simple bday party of 6, on the porch, facing the beautiful beach scenery. I envisioned playing badminton right in front the property, on the soft plush sand, and love to dance, don't get 2 do much. Started 7:30pm, 1st neighbor came to complain, "too loud and why outside" family informed me, was upstairs getting ready. Went over to 1st protester, affirmed that I will be playing loud music for my b'day party, and since he had protested, that it will be turned down by 11pm and off by midnight, out of respect. I thought that was fair 4 them, but 4 me as well, 4 I am there 6 Days and Only asking them 3 1/2 hrs of outside fun and noise, just 3 1/2 hrs, paid for noise. Though, I was appreciative that my first complainer expressed that he would rather "Not hear it at all", but thanked me that I informed him as to my plans. The 2nd complainer came, which were only 2, and was very nice, but my goal was to honor the first, and keep my word, down by 11 off by 12am, we cannot please everyone in the world, or ALL our neighbors. But my music was Up and Down in sound, between 7:30 to 10:50 extremely low, then off by 12pm, that wasn't fun. People must learn, respect is vice versa, I just asked for 3 hrs, of their time, respect, for my bday.

Great spot

Great location with updated kitchen and bathrooms, will all the extras you’d want for a family - beach equipment, subscription tv services, board games, outdoor shower, key rig coffee machine, etc. We’d definitely stay there again! Especially since Ocean City itself has so much to do between the beach, boardwalk, Jolly Roger parks, go karts, restaurants, mini-golf, sunsets & ice cream. A great place for families to visit.

Family beach vacation

Very successful beach vacation. So great to be right on the beach, and there is actually a little private strip of sand before the dune, was nice! Can walk to King Kone, OCM crabs, fractured prune, old pro golf. Little grocery store and liquor store less than 5 blocks away. Location could not be beat. Kids were in love with the beach! Kids slept well in the bottom bedroom, nice and cool and quiet for them to sleep while adults stayed up! Kitchen well stocked. Working ice machine thank goodness, because it was hot!

Lovely and thoughtful townhouse

We loved our stay at Meri's place; she is very quick to respond to questions. The house had multiple beach chairs, boogie boards and umbrellas (no cart but there wouldn't be room in the storage closet). The house was so so clean and there are outlet extenders with usb/extra outlets on them which was great for all the electronics everyone had. We ordered delivery from Food Lion (they use Instacart) and that worked out beautifully - they showed up as we were unpacking the car. We rented blankets/beach towels/bathroom towels/beach cart from Shore Rentals OC and that was great as well. I think maybe not the best choice for families with toddlers/crawling babies as the stairs are a bit open (but you can see that from the photos). We were driving a Buick SUV with a roof carrier and we knew from other reviews to drive through the other entrance that didn't have the overhead walkway. But the car was still too tall to fit in the covered parking space; thankfully there were uncovered parking spaces (and this was in July; OC was packed). Also if you are sleeping in the room with the 2 beds on the bottom floor; to use the restroom you have to go to the powder room in the kitchen on the middle floor. There is an outdoor shower inside the storage area off the kitchen. The 2 bedrooms on the 3rd floor have en suite bathrooms with showers. We loved our stay and would definitely return :)

NICE BEACH ACCOMODATIONS!

We were very happy with the convenience to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The entire place was spotless!! Three levels: bedroom on first floor no window & no bath, 2 bedrooms on 3rd level 2 full baths. Enclosed outdoor shower on 2nd floor. Great view of the ocean from the third floor balcony. Every kitchen appliance available. Lots of paper products, soap, cleaning products available, No need to bring. Beach chairs, boogie boards were in great condition. Parking spots ideal, although parking under the connecting walkway will guarantee your car will get wet/sandy by foot traffic. I would recommend more lighting in kitchen, master bath & lamps in living room & bedrooms.

Perfect for a family vacation!

We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation home rental. Perfect location, very clean, great kitchen, plenty of chairs, umbrellas and beach toys to borrow. Meri is a wonderful communicator and quickly answered all of my questions.

Beautiful location

This was the perfect property for us. Right on the beach; in the master bedroom I could fall asleep listening to the waves! Easy to drive to the boardwalk yet far enough away to be peaceful. Loved it!

Excellent stay!

The location of the beach house was top notch, Meri's communication was excellent, and the private beach was awesome! Our 7 and 4 year old had so much fun there. Definitely looking to come back again. The house itself was well equipped with extra beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc. The kitchen even had more appliances than I expected with a crockpot, air fryer, and even a griddle. The kids enjoyed playing with dominoes, Guess Who and the giant Jenga was a hit with everyone! The master bedroom balcony view was amazing. One thing to note about the parking situation is that we arrived with a Thule storage bin on top of our SUV. There are bridges on either side of the parking lot and they didn't have enough clearance to get underneath so we ended up taking the storage bin off. However, when the trash people came, we realized there was another entrance through the adjacent parking lot! That would have been good to know ahead of time but not a big deal. Overall, it was a great stay. Thanks Meri!

Family Holiday

When we first arrived, the property did not look as if it had been cleaned well at all. But the owner was very responsive and worked with us to rectify it. There is no room to sleep on the top bunk. Beach was crowded but it was convenient to walk to. Overall, a relaxing holiday.

Wonderful experience at this beach house!

Meri was a pleasure to work with from the time I booked this throughout the entire process. It’s our final morning and we are about to finish packing with fond memories. This is my first ever VRBO.
