Stressful stay, not toddler friendly
This house was very nice, but there were some disappointments. There were safety concerns with young children. There was no child safety lock on the sliding glass door to the walk out patio, which leads right to the pier over the water. With the older children drawn to the billards room, that door was opened often and left me unable to relax. Also the top floor loft bedroom has an internal window that slides open over the living room that children could easily climb out of.Check in was relatively smooth but we had to wait 7 min to get the code texted to us. Mgmt reached out via text on Day 2 to ask us to let them know ASAP if there was anything we needed to make it a 5-star stay, and I replied with 3 things that would make us more comfortable, including blankets and soap in the bathrooms. Their response was that they would discuss this with the owner for the future. There were no kid-friendly plates/cups...all were breakable.Lastly and most shocking was that the property mgmt co. only gives a 'Welcome bag' which includes 2 rolls of toilet paper and 2 tiny bars of soap for us to distribute among the 6 bathrooms!!! The fact that we arrived with several kids and didn't have even a single roll of TP in each bathroom was wild. We had to immediately go to the store to buy TP and soap just so everyone can have one for our short stay...and they provide only 1 trash bag!! We paid nearly 4k to stay here yet are expected to bring our camping supplies.
