Place was clean and great location. But the sliding door on main level is very hard to open and close to go on deck. There is no ice maker or ice trays to make ice.The other issue we had was there were 2 fees. One from vrbo which was expected and other from vacasa, totaling 2000 just in fees.

Beach Vacation in OCMD

We had a wonderful time in OCMD. The condo was beautiful and was perfectly located right on the water. The views from the balconies were amazing. Everyone had their own space, there were ten of us, and plenty of bathrooms. We definitely would stay there again!!!!

Only good thing is location

The only good things about this place were the locations on the beach and close proximity to the Convention Center where our family of 9 had an event to attend. Otherwise, the place was very dated and not clean, including dishes and glassware, nor was kitchen very well stocked. Outdoor furniture had not been wiped down so in order to enjoy the decks, we did it ourselves. The outdoor garbage bins were totally full, so when we left we felt terrible but left the trash bags sitting on the ground outside. Fortunately we had a beautiful weather weekend so all spare time was spent outside on the beach — definitely would not stay here again.

Beautiful views….. No Wi-Fi or TV

This house has beautiful views and a good location. 3 ocean facing decks with comfortable furniture. There are A LOT of stairs in this house, definitely NOT for anyone with disabilities or toddlers. We had no WI-FI or TV the WHOLE time we were there. We called several times to Vacasa (the property management co) They kept telling me that they had “created a ticket” and someone would come fix it. Well, on our last day, they finally sent someone out to fix it, but he was unable to because the owner had the WI-FI and cable turned off. We were there over Thanksgiving weekend and we’re unable to watch football the whole time. Plus, we had all of our young adult/ teenagers with us…. So you can imagine how happy they were to not have any Wi-Fi. The other issue we had were Roaches. We found one dead and one ALIVE. All of the dishes in the cabinets had to be washed before you used them because they were put away dirty. If these issues were fixed it would be a decent place to stay.

Nice house; not so great host

I have mixed feelings about this place. There is a lot to like: 1. Location is wonderful. Right on the beach! 2. Nice balconies 3. Well stocked kitchen with nice appliances 4. Plentiful, good quality towels What I didn't like: 1. The building construction is so poor that you could hear everything the neighbors said, and I assume vice versa. Although this is a non-smoking unit, the neighbors smoked and the cigarette smell on the balcony and through the walls was really obnoxious. Obviously not the owner's fault, but it is something that should be considered if it is an issue. The tackiness of the construction is evident throughout. 2. The unit was cleaned but not great. I absolutely would NOT say it was dirty, but the cleaning could be stepped up. 3. Vacasa staff readily picks up the phone when you need to call but their help is marginal. When I asked how to turn up the air conditioning (unit was cold upon arrival) I was told to turn off the circuit that the AC is on. I didn't want NO air conditioning...just the ability to control it. Eventually I found the unit and fixed it. Then I called to ask where the advertised beach chairs and umbrellas were. When they weren't where the Vacasa people thought they should be, they told me that the beach stuff advertised on the site were not guaranteed! Really??? Didn't I pay for them? Eventually we did find them in a storage shed, on the balcony off the kitchen, but the door to the balcony was locked and we had to climb through a window to access the shed and then lift the chairs through the open window. I assume the locked door was an accident but the Vacasa staff response couldn't possibly demonstrate less caring. I guess they are "quiet quitting". Finally, for those traveling with little children, this is not the house for you. The stairs are not suitable for little kids, who could really hurt themselves. This is not a criticism; rather a consideration for families with young ones.

large group weekend

the property was great for our large group! perfect location and good value for direct beach access. we had some trouble getting a clear answer on how to check in after hours because of the third party rental company, but we did figure it out by the time we got there. otherwise everything was great!
