Beautiful view, clean, needs few updates . But for being on beach with 4 kids they loved the pools and extra entertainment that was all free . Parking was the worse seeing I drive a full size van . Over all would give it an 8

2-Bedroom Oceanfront Condo with great views!

We booked this location for a last minute getaway to the beach. It is conveniently located and easy to access from the main OCMD drag. It has 2-bedrooms, and 2-full bathrooms with a balcony off the living room overlooking the oceanfront. Overall, the condo met our expectations, however, it was not as nice as other condos we have rented in the same building previously. The master bedroom provides an amazing view of the oceanfront, but the bed (mattress speficially) really needs to be replaced. It was so uncomfortable that my husband, and I ended up using the bed in the spare bedroom with no views, simply because it was slightly better than the alternative (would recommend replacing both mattresses). Some of the applicances could use an upgrade as well in the kitchen as they seem pretty outdated. Otherwise, this location was everything we needed for a quick trip to take a break from it all.

Great owner!

The Vacassa management forgot to let the owner know we booked the rental for 5 days. But luckily we arrived early and let him know we were staying there and he was very nice and informative, and he personally cleaned the condo, and then still had the vacassa management clean it again the next day! We were able to start settling in around 6:30pm so not to bad. Very pretty place with amazing views!

Short Vacation

The property closets full of old stuff that can not be used anymore, kitchen cabinets are broken, furnitures are outdated, needs a new carpet. We used one bed which comfortable and clean. The gym , the swimming pool very well maintained .Location is great. Can not recommend this place.

My husband and I decided to give it a try, even though the reviews weren't that great. The view and location were wonderful, but that is about all. None of the complaints in the reviews have been addressed! When we got there the shower head leaked out the side (which must have been going on for a while because there is black mold on the door frame where the water hits). On the second day the shower head broke off completely, called Vacasa twice, was never fixed so we showered with a full blast stream straight from the wall. Garbage disposal does not work. There is a missing toilet paper roll holder in one of the bathrooms.. Make sure to take hand soap, toilet paper, garbage bags. Overall we made the best of it, but I do not recommend booking here and we would not stay here again.

Great location but otherwise a miss.

The location was fantastic but that was the only good thing. We stayed for a weekend and upon arrival, they did not tell me that the parking space they have provided is TINY. After trying and trying, we finally got my mini van in the spot, only to see that we couldn't open the doors or get out. So, no parking spot for the weekend. When we got up to the room, the bathroom doors were locked. We literally picked them open with a hairpin. There was no toilet paper in the one bathroom and only 1 roll in the other. I called multiple times, never received any toilet paper. They knew that 6 of us were going to be there. There were only 4 towels there. I called twice to ask for towels and received them late in the evening on the last night I was going to be there. There were no pillow cases for the pull-out sofa bed. I was told that there was Wifi. There isn't. There isn't even Wifi to purchase and you can't pull up Netflix or anything on the tv. The place could really use a face-lift. The wallpaper is peeling at multiple places and the shower leaks really bad and the front door isn't tight and seems like it barely locks. Again, it was great for what we needed it for... the location is fantastic but otherwise the communication is pretty bad and there are lots of things they aren't up front with you about.

Great View and Nice Property

The downside was that we never received the door code for entry into the unit before we arrived, had to call Vacasa to obtain code for the entry door. Upside: The view was great, Golden Sands was really nice, security desk/check in desk was very helpful and friendly. Parking was great but remember off season so it was open parking. Unit was clean and well stocked except the pots and pans could really be updated they are old and some not useable or I wouldn't use them. Great location, Great view from living room and master bedroom. Floor to Ceiling windows in master bedroom a real plus, also sliding glass door from master bedroom to balcony, plus sliding glass door to balcony from living room. Washer and dryer a plus. Both are older but worked. Would definitely stay in this unit again!!!

Needs not only upgrades but basic maint!

Love the view, love the pool, love the beach and most of the unit. But we were at 1 working bathroom most the time (toilet was sporadic); no hot water from sink. Needs major upgrades, but lack of maintenance stood out (too much dry-rot; kitchen drawer pulls down and out without effort, ect..)

The view was fabulous. That is where the stars end. The place needs a lot of work. The wall paper is hanging off the walls in the bedrooms and the bathroom. The kitchen drawers won't close. It was a dirty pot in the cabinets with old stuck on food in it. The 2nd bedroom dresser tops are ruined with the paint wiped off of it. The coffee table in the living room has a huge crack in it. The stools around the kitchen nook is worn needs to be replaced. The living room sofa is so old it definitely needs to be replaced. when you sit on it goes to the floor. You can tell the owner has not been to the property in a loooong time, because the love in the place no longer shows.

MBR View is fabulous, indoor pool, reading atrium and pool/pingpong room (with same views) are fabulous!! Maintenance on the unit was terrible. Please fix these items and we'd come back again: many missing blind slats in MBR (couldn't dress/undress), two drawers in kitchen missing tracks, mbr and kitchen sink faucets leak when used, no stopper in mbr sink, (shower pressure was wonderful), original furniture and cushions from decades ago (replace please), wall decorations nice, kitchen nicely stocked pans, etc, beds comfortable, A/C heat fine. Water valve to unit under 2BR sink...was off for winter, but not turned on for us on arrival.

Sink leaked all over floor, bedroom tv no connection to cable because owner did not pay bill, window panels missing so sun light came through at sunrise, unit needs painting, wall paper showing tears, chairs inside & deck need replacing, etc... should be ashamed to rent in this condition

Needs Attention Badly

Beautiful view of the ocean from the master bedroom. Blue carpet is stained brown from not being cleaned. Ceiling in bathroom is cracked and falling apart from moisture i suppose. Instead of replacing the wallpaper someone has put tape over it. For what you pay to stay here I would definitely recommend repairing this unit. Thanks

This was the worst vacation I have ever had!!!

First the AC did not work in our condo and it was known. No one let me know, all that was done was a portable unit in the spare bedroom o yea and two plug in wall fans which did nothing for the rest of the condo it was a sweat box in August. But worse then that the heavy storm door out front was missing the safty hydraulic latch. The wind blew and the door slammed on my wife's finger lost the top of it. Spent two hours in the hospital and she needs to go back this evening when we get back home. And no one with any type of authority has yet to contact me have been trying since Thursday in ocean city. Pissed off dosnt even describe how I feel about all of this ruining my sons first beach trip! The head line for this condo is a disgrace it's not charming it's not beautiful if you walk around bare foot your feet turn black. And to top it off you tried to give me a 25% discount how in the world can vaccasa put there name on a below sub par dwelling..... I would give it 0 stars but that wasn't an option

We never went on our family vaca cause this lousy comp couldn't get a/c fixed. 8 days notice. Cause they are based in Ore and this only prop in all of OCMD that they manage, they don't care. Ruined last week of summer for 6 & 9 year old, ruined my first summer week off in 5 yrs and stressed out all involved. Horrible choice. Run screaming from this place. Spend ur $ elsewhere. Waste of time. Terrible comp VACASA. Uncaring not capable. No contacts in OCMD to fix a/c? Pathetic. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY IN THE GOLDEN SANDS. Big mistake trusting these people. No stars.
