The place itself it very nice and as described, however it was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a short term rental (not that our entire experience was bad). The check in instructions were not sent to me until after the check in time and two hours after I requested them. If the place hadn’t been left unlocked, presumably on accident by the cleaners, then we wouldn’t have been able to get in our first night. We couldn’t leave and lock our doors for two days because the door code we received didn’t work and no one seemed to know what they were doing in order to provide a working code. The office was closed by the time we knew the code and that it didn’t work and wasn’t going to reopen for four days. When you call the number for assistance you get directed to someone who knows absolutely nothing about where you are staying and could only direct us to go to the office that was closed. I’ve also never seen a rental so dirty in my life (we rent at least 3-4 times per year), not that the place itself is filthy, its more like the cleaners made the beds, perhaps cleaned the toilets, and left. Floors weren’t swept and mopped, table tops were not cleaned off, showers weren’t cleaned. All replies also took a minimum of two hours and fifteen minutes.
