Comfortable OC condo with great ocean view

This Flying Cloud condo was perfectly suited for our small crew of five. We had everything we needed and easy access to groceries and restaurants during the off season. Highly recommend this comfortable and well appointed condo!

OC Golf Getaway

This condo was clean, well appointed, beds and furnishings in good condition, great view of the ocean and walking distance close to 7 Eleven, ACME grocery and a number of restaurants. Communications with the owner in advance of arrival were promptly answered. Be aware that bed sheets and towels are not included and the charge was $165 in addition to rental charge which was higher than anticipated. We enjoyed our stay and would book this unit again. Thanks!

We are all ladies +65 years and college friends. We did have to clean the dining chairs and parts of the bathroom areas when we arrived, and there was a shelf that was about to break and DID so while we were there. No big deal regarding the cleaning which is why it wasn’t mentioned to the property owners. Lovely place, very spacious and comfortable. Great beach views. The property managers were very attentive and responded quickly to all issues. We would certainly rent this property again.

Another Great Stay

We have stayed here before and have never been disappointed. Great oceanfront view. Within walking distance of restaurants, pretty central to South OC and Rehobeth. Linen service worth the cost. Thermostat and appliances easy to use. Keurig coffee pot very handy. Like having grocery carts and elevator to transport luggage. Would definitely recommend.

Family reunion

We stayed in mid September for a family reunion - my sister owns a unit in the same building so I was very familiar with the building and area. The only issues were very minor - there were no trash bags for the kitchen wastebasket, only 1 detergent pod for the dishwasher and no soap for the kitchen sink. Also there were only 2 beach chairs in the beach locker. The electronic lock on the door made it convenient for us to come and go independently without having to share a key or two.

Cleaning

The unit is great. However, the cleaning crew let the owner down. Upon arrival, we were a little disappointed that the place had not been cleaned properly. The next day, the manager sent a cleaning crew to clean and fix the areas of concern, even though it was not a priority for them. She said the crew would arrive around 2 p.m. I called to report the problem at 9 a.m. No one answered at 8.

Disappointed

I hate to be that person but after driving almost three hours I wanted to relax and sit down. Just enjoy the sound of the ocean for a bit. But first I had to clean the balcony that smelled like vomit and even looked like someone had gotten sick AFTER I ran out to get something to clean it with. I’m not sure the place was even cleaned before we arrived. The floor wasn’t vacuumed and the counters were covered in sand/crumbs. The shower was dirty. No one expects things to be perfect, ever. However, I didn’t expect to have to clean up before I could enjoy my vacation. I didn’t even stay the full time the second day. After dinner, I went home.

Perfect location- beautiful condo.

Our family of three adults and three children enjoyed this condo. The three bedrooms worked perfectly. The kitchen had everything we needed. Ocean front balcony provided perfect views and was protected from the winds. Overall nothing to complain about. We did the sheet rental program. With three children we had to be very organized in order to strip and make the bedding and unload the dishwasher but we did it. There is space at the entrance of condo also where you can view the sunsets over the bay. My only suggestion is that if you like a big fluffy pillow, bring your own. The pillows are fine but on the small side, certainly not a deal breaker.

Great condo! Very clean and great views of the beach. The carts were a HUGE help as we unloaded and packed up. Without them, we would not consider going back. However, we hope to return again. Having a 7-11 and Acme so close was also a huge plus. The property was just what we were looking for!
