Totally unimpressed with the property. All the sofa’s were dirty and the cushions very worn. Walls were dirty and really needs a fresh paint job. Everything was very dated and for the price we paid, unsatisfactory in my opinion. After you read the description, you would expect the apartment was in pristine condition. Far from it. I would never rent this property again based on it’s present condition. I actually feel deceived.

Location and Amenities

This penthouse was in the perfect location with easy access to the beach and restaurants. There are 2 grocery stores within 2 blocks. We enjoyed the pool and game room. Some of the other things weren’t open yet since they are seasonal. The grounds were very lovely.The penthouse itself was not cleaned properly when we arrived. The floors turned our feet black and I had to wipe down surfaces in kitchen for us to be able to cook. Overall, the place needs some care and attention. Beds were not comfortable and furniture was stained and dirty, broken blinds, etc. Some of lamps in bedroom weren’t working and the shower curtain needed to be replaced. We did communicate these issues to the property manager and were provided some cleaning supplies to mop floors and were refunded our cleaning fee. That was really appreciated. The space was great and layout worked for us. We made it work but we won’t be staying again. We expected more, especially for the price we paid. I hope the management can address the issues with the owners. The place has great potential!

5 Star Penthouse Experience

Thank you for a wonderful stay and penthouse experience! We will definitely book again! 2 floors and oceanfront, who can ask for anything more! Beds made before arrival, and soaps and towels provided were a great touch! We love that Keurig combo pot or pod machine! We had plenty of room to spread out but could also gather in the family room to watch the Os and Nats! The ocean, bay, and Coastal Hwy views are amazing! We also appreciated the updates made with a door to the bunkroom and window coverings! Gym and theater were a plus! Thanks again!

Penthouse unit that’s needs a lot of TLC

Sea watch building is a beautiful building with lots of amenities to enjoy. The staff and security personnel are very welcoming and accommodating. The kids enjoyed the pool, movie theater, play ground area, and easy access to the beach. The unit itself was very worn and outdated and in need of upkeep. Most of the window blinds throughout the unit are missing some slats which was especially bad in the bedrooms that face the exterior walkways. The couches in the living room are broken, and stained. Sitting on them was very uncomfortable as you were almost on the floor. The couch upstairs with the pullout was also with and the pullout is ripped on one side which caused the bed to collapse on one side. The mattresses in the bedrooms are oh poor quality and we needed to go out and purchase mattress toppers so you could sleep on them. In addition no blankets were supplied for the beds so we also needed to purchase them. The electrical outlet in the middle bathroom needs repair and sparks when you plug something in. The kitchen has a ton of old pots and pans, with few usable kitchen utensils, no serving dishes, or bowls and no strainer. It’s a shame that the owners don’t take a little time to update this unit, as the condo building has great amenities and great location and the unit itself could be amazing with a little care.

Fun location on the Maryland Coast

The condo community and city have a variety of entertainment amenities, especially helpful for winter guests who may not want as much beach time. We especially enjoyed walking the boardwalk at the center of town. The condo offers great bay and ocean views from large windows and has ample deck spaces. Furnishings are older yet adequate for our family of mostly adults and teens.

So much fun

It was a family get our way to watch the Christmas parade and see the Winterfest of lights. The condo was spacious for our group of 10. Great location. Well equipped kitchen. Location was great for the elevator parking and the trash Shute. The host was very quick with response to any questions or concerns. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Family Weekend

Our family was celebrating a milestone birthday and since we all love Ocean City, this ocean front property was perfect. The ocean and bay views are spectacular and this penthouse was very roomy for our large family. We may make this an annual event.

short family get together

We loved the location - ocean was too cold to swim in though, which was disappointing. Also - the ad said GORGEOUS views but I could see neither sunset or sunrise from my unit. That was also a little misleading. But overall nice stay to see the fam.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! DISGUSTING!

This unit was an immense disappointment. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. There isn't a 4th bedroom...it's a paper door. There's no closet in "the room". The window panels were missing from 2 bedrooms so we all slept in one room the first night because people walking in the hallway could just look in. The unit is DATED! It needs a facelift. It smells. There is mold on the blue bedroom ceiling. I'm sure they will paint over it. The closet door fell off when we touched it. Bathrooms are just gross. We asked to leave and were told we couldn't get refunded. RIDICULOUS! You can stay at the Ashore hotel for half the price. It's so much nicer, cleaner and doesn't have the disgusting smell. Our vacation was ruined. DON'T RENT THIS UNIT!

Nice place to stay

We had a great time staying at this unit in Sea Watch. We had 5 adults and 4 toddlers and could make the 3 upstairs bedrooms work. It’s roomy enough downstairs for the kids to play and they loved the playground, movie theater and kiddie pool as did the adults along with the indoor and outdoor pool. We could not use the section downstairs with the bunk beds as a bedroom because the blinds would not work to darken the room and prevent people from looking into the room if standing on the walkway outside the unit to view the bayside. I would have given 5 stars except for the blinds issue and not having the ability to lock the entry door from the inside to prevent toddlers from opening the door on their own and going out. Would have been nice to have a sliding bolt or chain on the inside of the door to prevent that.

An early stay

It was a nice stay. Some painting needs to be done to keep it looking clean. The bedroom with the slider to the outside needs bed replaced. The sofa really needs to be replaced. It was horrible looking at the stains. Especially the butt stain. Other than that it was a lovely stay. A bit early as the ice cream shop was not open. The inside pool was closed for repair.

2 night stay

There were 10 of us on this mini vacation. We were comfortable in the two floor unit. Great view of Ocean City. Condo is beachfront and has an indoor pool, arcade and outdoor playground. Lots of things for kids to do! Hope to come back soon.

Fabulous for Girlfriend Weekend!

The view from this penthouse was exquisite! We watched sunrises and sunsets from the balconies. The living areas were so welcoming and comfy... Beds were nice too. This place was so cozy we decided to order in, instead of go out to dinner one night. The property has an indoor swimming pool, a game room and a theater where we chose a movie and had our own screening. Such fun! Food, shopping and groceries were all within walking distance. We'll definitely be coming back.

Great location. Most everything within walking distance. Great views from balconies. Sea Watch staff and amenities were excellent. Cleanliness of place needs to picked up a notch. Otherwise a great place.
