My husband and I had a long weekend getaway at the Kemp suite. It was everything we hoped for and more! Our hosts were phenomenal and eager to answer our questions. I asked for our host’s local favorite local dining places, and everywhere we tried from the list was outstanding! They reached out daily to see if there was anything we needed and to check on how our day was going. The camp suite itself was better than we could have ever imagined! It was immaculate, full of hidden gems, and an overall dun place to stay. We definitely plan on returning, and we will most likely bring our two teenagers with us. There’s lots to keep you entertained right in the apartment, and it is within 10 minutes of walking distance from downtown. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and we cannot praise this property enough!

We enjoyed our stay at the Kemp apartment. Very clean and the hosts were super responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Ocala. Easy walk to the downtown square and allows you to feel the historic charm of Ocala.

We enjoyed the games and darts it allowed us fun time together. The workout room was great as well.I would suggest a box fan or ceiling fan for the kitchen. While cooking in the kitchen there aren't vents and it gets very hot hot in there mid day.Otherwise beds were comfy. Decor was lovely. They had cookies and coffee ready for us as guests.The pic below is the food that we prepped for our granddaughters first birthday. The kitchen was spacious enough for two of us to work comfortable to prep all of that! The fridge was big enough to hold 6 large platters to take with us to set up at the event!

quick get away

Lovely apartment, spacious and very clean. Very comfortable and walking distance to downtown Ocala with plenty of restaurants to chose from. The location of the apartment is ideal and in a picturesque historical neighborhood. I like to run, and felt safe in the neighborhood doing so. The apartment also comes with a well equipped gym if you rather do that. The weather was great during our stay. the one day that rained, we stayed indoors playing board games. The house has plenty of them to chose from. Overall, we were extremely happy with the apartment. I'll give it a 10/10. Thank you!

Great Little Place

This was a great little place to stay for the night we were in Ocala! I do wish the stairs were noted in the description as they are very steep and having the door lock so low presented a little bit of a challenge with our young kids but overall it was a lovely place with a great location and lots to do!

Second time visit/great accommodations

We were on the second floor of this beautiful and charming historic home located in a beautiful neighborhood close to downtown Ocala. Our host made sure we were totally happy with our stay. We will definitely be back.

This property is very nice and plenty of space to move around! Loaded with games and nice gym equipment. Beds are really comfortable! Wonderful stay!

Gorgeous home, fun activities

Stayed during hurricane evac and was able to stay an extra day thanks to the host! This home is absolutely beautiful inside and out, and well equipped for all our needs. The board games, shuffleboard table, and dvds ensure no one will be bored. Beds are comfy and plenty of extra pillows and blankets were available. Water pressure was good in shower, note helped explain to wait a bit for hot water. The kitchen is amazing and the cabinets were stunning! Had great coffee every morning. Thanks so much to our host!

Beautiful place to stay while traveling!

My family and I stopped in Ocala to kayak Silver Springs and then head on to St Augustine. We arrived and the house was very easy to find. Check in process and communication with host was perfect. We were “warned” through the reviews about the steps but once you have your things upstairs, the apartment is clean, cozy and just what we needed for our stay! Would definitely stay again when in the area! Silver Springs is less than 15 minutes away and Ocala is a beautiful little town.

An outstanding experience. One of the best!

This was one of the best Air B&B type accommodations I have ever stayed at. I stayed here with my husband and our dogs. The place was beautiful. The beds were soft and comfortable. They provided water bottles and farm fresh eggs (!) from their chickens in the fridge. The common areas are spacious. There's a gym, an office, a piano room. Everything is clean and labeled. It was even decorated for the holidays! The hosts really thought about what we would need and how to make us comfortable. Check in was easy and check out procedures were minimal. The area around the hotel is nice. There are places to walk and many of the buildings are cute looking. You're not far from stores & restaurants downtown. Something important to know before staying is that the home is at the top of a steep flight of steps. Being that it's a historic building, there's no elevator. You'll have to get your luggage up the steps so keep that in mind. The stairs would be a challenging climb for anyone with mobility issues. It's also not ideal for young kids. None of those were a factor for us, so we had a fantastic stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer.
