A traditional stone and slate building, airy in summer and cosy in winter, the Boat House was converted some years ago and is centered on a light but snug split-level dining/sitting room. Spend your days watching diving birds and graceful sailing boats drift by, or simply unwind in the peaceful ambiance of this beautifully converted traditional stone and slate building.
Airy in summer and cosy in winter, the heart of the home is a light-filled, split-level dining and sitting room, complete with a wood burner and a starter pack of logs and kindling.
Charming interiors: Thoughtfully decorated with nautical touches and local artwork, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Living space: A split-level open-plan space with large French windows that flood the room with natural light and open onto the terrace. Comfortable seating around a wood-burning stove—ideal for cosy evenings in. Dining: Perfect for family meals or relaxed dinners with friends. Modern Amenties & Kitchen: A well-equipped kitchen with everything you need for a self-catering stay, featuring Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Electric oven & hob. Plenty of storage and counter space, ideal for longer stays or family cooking. For the convenience of longer stays there is a Washing Machine & Tumble Dryer.
Bedrooms: Three comfortable bedrooms. A spacious double room with en-suite shower and WC, soft lighting, and views of the surrounding woodland. A cosy single room perfect for solo travellers or children, with storage. A bunk room, a fun and functional space with bunk beds, ideal for younger guests or siblings. All bedrooms come with high-quality cotton linen, soft pillows, and warm duvets. The Boat House sleeps five comfortably. Bathrooms: In addition to the en-suite, there is a separate family bathroom with a full-size bath, WC, and heated towel rail—perfect for a relaxing soak after a day of exploring. Inclusions: Electricity and Wi-Fi are included as is a starter pack of logs. More logs are available to purchase.
Outdoor area: Soak up the magnificent loch views, perfect for an afternoon or summer evenings with your favourite aperatif. Or a lazy afternoon of fishing. Relax: Life by the water, watching the sailing boats come and go.
Estate: Ardtornish and the surrounding areas of Morvern and Ardnamurchan are a paradise for lovers of the outdoors, wildlife watchers and hikers looking to make the most of what the West Coast of Scotland has to offer.
