Great to have the whole house and plenty of space for a family of 4. Good location with central Oamaru an easy walk away. Very comfortable beds.

Don't judge a book by its cover!
This lovely three bedroom home suited my mother and I as we were traveling through the area. When we pulled up we were not sure it was the right place as the outside looks under par, however inside this lovely home is all you need with spacious rooms, a lovely lounge, kitchen, bathroom and very gracious hosts. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Authentic Oamaru Cottage
This was a great place to stay with frictionless booking and communication. The character and ambience was in keeping with Oamaru which is full of character in the Victorian precinct.

Cute and cosy
Close to the Victorian Precinct and waterfront. Easy walk to Cucina for an excellent dinner. Lovely and warm on arrival despite being one of the coldest days. Everything we needed for our stay. A very quaint cottage.

Nice old Home
We enjoyed our stay, close to town and the Whitestone cheese factory/shop. Thanks for sharing your home. The Last Post is a must for dinner, great food and service. For the owner.. The Mitre 10 opens at 7:30 am and can be quite noisy along with their security lights, disturbing you if you are a light sleeper. The house's security lights were on permanently, it took us some time to find the switch to turn them off, and the heat pump in the lounge we had trouble getting to work, The TV needs instructions or a freeview box that works.

Weekend away from home
A great central place to stay. We ran out of toilet paper but popped across the road to Mitre10 to purchase some. A drying rack would be handy to dry towels on. We'd rent this house again.

Das Haus hat viel Charme, ist nett eingerichtet und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Negativ war für uns, dass es drinnen muffig roch und klamm war; nachdem wir überall die Heizungen hochgedreht hatten, ging es einigermaßen. Momentan wird gegenüber gebaut, das heißt, dass sogar sonntags ab 7 Uhr mit Baulärm zu rechnen ist.

Comfortable character home, good location!
We had a great stay at Orla's cottage. Comfortable beds and cozy linens were just a few of the amenities we enjoyed. Location was perfect. We were able to walk to grocery stores and shops. Loved the character details if this 1906 heritage stone cottage and the nice private backyard with picnic table. All in all we had an excelkent stay. 🙂 Steve and Angela West Ottawa, Canada

Comfortable, stylish and homely
Lovely place to stay with three spacious warm bedrooms, with very comfortable beds and delightful furnishing. Lounge, dining, kitchen and bathroom are all quite chic too. Location is central and in a very quiet part of town so easy to drive to all the spots we wanted to see - a brilliant stay :)

Fantastic property in a relatively central location
Lovely property, very nicely decorated and dressed. The property cleanliness was immaculate and the beds were lovingly made up. The property is maybe ten minutes walk from the victorian district.
