There was great communication with the host. I appreciate that he reached out to check on us during our stay. The cabin was perfect for a family weekend getaway after Christmas. We loved the hot tub and fire pit. Looking forward to going back during the summer to enjoy the outdoors.

We could tell from the moment we walked in that this place was going to be a beautiful and peaceful stay! The place was very clean, well decorated (neither too little nor too much), and full of a ton of amenities. We went in late October, so it was nice to see the decor of the proper season (i.e. nice and "autumny").The host has been very kind and answers questions promptly. One time we requested something to cover the front door's window (for privacy), and the cleaning lady was sent. She was also kind and provided working curtain for the door. And she even brought cupcakes! I did not expect that. It was very nice of them to do that.So many household supplies were provided, which really made the stay very convenient. We even requested a couple of things (like detergent & disinfecting wipes), and they sent those to us in reasonable time. Bathrooms were loaded with soap, shampoo, and body wash. Appliances worked well, including the gas grill outside. We made s'mores in the fire-pit outside once, and it was relatively easy to start a fire with the "fire starter" substance provided near the fireplace.Oh, and the coffee accommodation was more varied. You do have to being your own beans (not a complaint, I know what I like), but you can do old-fashioned drip coffee, K-Cup, chemex, and even French press. Definitely more than I would expect from any accommodation. The coffee (blade) grinder works very well too. Overall, this was an excellent place, especially in autumn!

This house is beautiful, clean and well maintained! The area is great; quiet with just an occasional car passing by. It is the perfect spot to escape the noisy city life and relax either by the fire or in the wonderful hot tub with just the sounds of nature. The hosts are awesome! They were very attentive and easy to get in touch with for any questions. They were even so kind and thoughtful as we arrived to a little goodie basket of snacks and necessities.

This place is amazing and so is the owner! You can’t go wrong with this cabin… it’s beautiful, clean,close to everything…. And when you add Neil (the owner) to the equation and it all was perfect!! We had a blast!! Thank you again Neil, we will be back soon!!

Couldn’t Be Better

We stayed for a holiday ski trip for our kids. The location was perfect - close to the slopes and restaurants, but in a quiet and private neighborhood. The house was great as well. We had plenty to do and lots of space for everyone. Hosts are very attentive and the whole process was super easy. Highly recommend!

Short Stay

Neil’s place was wonderful for a quick weekend getaway. It was clean, had ample room, with everything you need. We were able to cook dinner and breakfast, enjoy the open living room and had an extremely comfortable stay. The setting was beautiful outdoors as well! We’ll be back.

Great cabin with lots to do!

Our stay was amazing! Everything was nice, clean, and as advertised! We really appreciated the host’s hospitality, providing some extra amenities that not every house offers. We were 5 mins from where we rented our boat, and had a ton of fun enjoying the outdoors for a weekend.

Summer Vacay to Deep Creek

My family of 4 including our dog, stayed at this cute and cozy cabin for 6 days. The cabin fit us perfectly. The porch has a gate so you can enjoy the sounds of nature and relax on the porch swing while your kids or dog hang outside with you and no worries of them leaving the porch. The deck has a gate as well, but it wasn't attached, so we couldn't enjoy the deck with the dog as much as we would have wanted to. The cabin has a lot to offer. The kitchen is really nice, as well as the fireplace. Very nice furniture and the beds were very comfy. My kids really enjoyed the bunkbeds along with the star ceiling projector. The neighborhood is quiet and very peaceful. Lots of nature walks for us and the dog. The location of the cabin was great and it only took us 5-10 mins (probably less) to get to our desired destinations. Neil is a great host and checked in to make sure everything was going well for us. I would definitely recommend this cabin and stay here again with my family.

Good overall

Overall a great stay and really good experience with the owner. Couple things which aren’t the owners fault is one bed wasn’t made and the water wasn’t replaced (5gal bottle). Aside from those minor items the experience was great.

Our family had a great stay at Jamesons Cabin! Very clean, comfortable furniture and bedding, well stocked kitchen, beautiful fireplace, hot tub was clean and worked well, setting is beautiful. Host was very responsive to anything we needed! Overall great renting experience.

Great Experience

Very cozy place absolutely no complaints. Have stayed at many locations and can honestly say Neil by far was the best at checking in and making sure we had a great experience. Not sure how anyone could give anything less then 5 stars all because of Neils willingness to make it right. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Perfect Winter Cabin

Everyone loved our stay here! The location was great, super close to Wisp for skiing and tubing. Nice amenities to keep the kids and adults busy. Comfy beds too! Loved sitting in the hot tub with snow falling. Saw a few deer in the back yard on our last morning there. Would stay again, and highly recommend! The owners were super responsive with a few questions we had too.

Christmas 2023 We rented the cabin for a 2.5 days. We got there on Christmas Day.🎄 I ask if we could get an early check in and I was able to go 2 hours early to start preparing Christmas dinner. The owners messaged us several times leading up to the visit, Great communication. They even sent us a text the day of arrival to make sure check in went smoothly. There was a nice welcome sign on the table and and a book of all the todo's. The home was clean and neat. Once there I messaged owners about the grill and let them know we would be using it and I understood the agreement w using it. We were not even there but 10 minutes and they sent someone to make sure we had propane. The person took one of the empty tanks and came back with a full new tank. I can't say how much this was appreciated. It's Christmas Day. We would have been driving around to find a place. There was a small christmas tree in the living room and plenty of room for everyone . It seemed bigger than the pictures. It was a rainy 3 days so having games, cards, dartboard, and karaoke. All included was a big hit. Each room had the personal towels, washcloths for showering. Plenty of cooking utensils, cups, plates. The house is pet friendly and one of the reasons we chose it. The hot tube was nice on the rainy nights. It's a great location to everything. We had one of the best Christmas's
