Cute Cabin

The cabin was clean and comfortable. Had some issues with the TV but not that important. Also, if you have back issues, the bed is very soft. Most importantly, it was clean and the process of checking in and out was super easy.

Nice location but too many things not working

Oven did not work, kitchen sink leaks into a bucket that has to be emptied, water was cloudy so we didn’t drink it. Could not get the cable to work.

Quiet & Peaceful

This property was very clean, quiet and easy to figure everything out. With some of the best trails around, it’s a great place to call home base while exploring some of nature’s best scenery. I didn’t catch many fish in nearby Deep Creek lake, but it was more about relaxing with great scenery. Rose is the property manager and was very nice to talk with. Everything you will need is supplied. You’ll need your own food of course. Be sure to visit swallow falls state park, which is just down the road. I’ll be back!

Good but...

Okay, here's the deal, sure this is a cute little cabin. It definitely does the job for a place to sleep with a little kitchen to cook if needed etc. It came with a pass to enter into the state parks, which was amazing! Also loved the little outdoor area to have a bonfire, and a picnic table! The area is quiet which is really nice! And it's super close to swallow falls. But I like to write out what I wish I knew before booking. Is the price worth it, sure I guess. But I definitely would pay more and stay elsewhere for these reasons. The cabin was pretty clean. There was a lot of spider webs. And the shower had some dirt/mold. But that's really my only complaint in cleanliness. The double bed was okay. It's a joke if you think someone can sleep on the pull out bed/sofa. I wouldn't even put my child on that. So if it's more than just two adults I would take that into consideration. I definitely would not put four adults in there! It felt crowded with two adults and our Toddler. If the playground intrigues you because you're going with small kids, don't use that as a reason to stay there. I didn't expect much. But in the photos it looks really nice. And that's just simply not the case. Not only was it covered in spider webs, spiders, bugs, I'm assuming because no one has used it which is fine, But there was also a wasp nest with many wasps. So we couldn't even be over there. I think if they sprayed for bugs it would help a little at least. Or if someone just went in there and cleaned it at least once a month. But I get it, it's an order play set and not the main area. Overall, I guess we would stay there again in a pinch! Or maybe we would stay there if it was just my husband and I. But definitely not a group. Or with children.

Quiet Getaway

Our second time staying at Cabin #2. The first time, I got engaged there. This time was a nice little escape from the world. It’s always a great time. It’s quiet and peaceful. You can even hear the river while sitting by the fire pit. Will be returning soon!

Great location next to forest and trees

Cute and cozy cabin with all of the essentials. Water and appliances all worked great, including the cozy electric fire place. This cabin is the last private property before Swallow Falls State Park. One quirky thing is you walk through the bathroom to get to the bedroom. It is great for singles and couples, but more could be awkward.

Great little getaway

Super cute campground. The cabin and campground and playground were very well maintained. There was everything we needed provided, even charcoal for the grill. The lack of WiFi or cell service was actually a pretty nice escape. We loved our stay!

a wonderful stay! Everything was very clean and neat. There are plenty of kitchen supplies that we could eat in or grill out everyday. Also, plenty of linens. They provide direct TV, no internet, but no problem. Our Verizon worked well. Its wasn't that necessary. A beautiful, quiet place to enjoy nature with fly fishing nearby. Thank you owners!!

Cabin getaway

True to the photos. Cute and clean little cabin equipped with plates, appliances, linens and towels. Very close to several other cabins, but not bad if neighbors are polite. In walking distance to Swallow Falls trailhead and driving distance to lake. I only wish it would have been easy to leave feedback cards for the owners, for example that the lighter fluid in the igniter was empty. A nice getaway cabin for two. I don't know if I'd try to fit any more people than that.
