This house was listed as a 4 bedroom 4 bathroom house. In reality it had 2 bathrooms, one of them being in the basement off a small bedroom, so no really a pass-through and accessible for the rest of the occupants. The house was for 10 people, so if you put aside the 2 ppl in the basement bedroom with access to their own bath, it basically left 8 people sharing one bathroom. Needless to say, we literally had to stay in line waiting to use the bathroom, kids and adults alike. On top of it, that only toilet was clogging quite often and it had to be plunged. Not how I want to spend my vacation days!
When contacted about it, the owner didn't respond at all, complete silence. After a complaint to vrbo they said they contacted the owner and the information has been corrected on the website. Thank you on behalf of the next renters, but how about some courtesy discount/ refund for the false information listed and for the inconvenience on our side? Vrbo says it is just between you and the owner. I didn't rent from the owner, but from vrbo, and the owner is not responding.
To add insult to the injury, the owner finally sent a text after all this, "the information is listed correctly, I don't know where you saw 4 bedrooms 4 bathrooms". What a bad joke! Yes, I know it's corrected now, because I called vrbo myself and they had you change it. I sent her the listing as it was when I reserved the house, which showed 4 bd 4 ba. No answer again.
Overall a horrible experience, between the house problems, the rip off of paying for something that we didn't get, the treatment from the owner and from vrbo.
