"We loved our stay at the Red Cottage. The first thing I noticed walking in was the cleanliness of the house. The place was absolutely immaculate. We enjoyed many of the amenities available, such as the fire pit and hot tub. There were so many kitchen utensils and accessories available we didn’t need to bring a thing. "We enjoyed our stay at the Birdhouse Lodge. It was quiet, cozy and had a great view of nature. The road to get there was steep and bumpy but my Prius handled it (in June, no snow). The main bed was too soft, but without the foam topper it was just right for us. The listing is accurate except that there are now FOUR TVs and nice chairs around the firepit. "The inside of the house was very clean and very tastefully decorated. The view was out of this world! The one thing that we would like to note, is that prior guests left large dog poop on the balcony that was not cleaned up by the staff. In addition, there was a bag of dog poop left in front of the home. Everything else was excellent and we still appreciate it being dog-friendly."

"We went to this cabin/house as a retreat just to relax and read. We got to do that! The house is as pictured but with a few cobwebs around and the windows are in desperate need of washing (so as not to obstruct the view). The big bedroom was a little cold compared to the rest of the house. The fireplace in the living room was a bonus as we like a "live" fire. Firewood was easy to obtain in the area. Overall, we my wife and I had a good, relaxing time. Would go back to this place again."
