Room was clean and comfortable with the expected basics provided. Staff were helpful and informative and keen to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was a served full English which can be adapted to suit individual needs. All in all, I would recommend this hotel and I look forward to staying here again."

"Lovely stay at Arran lodge. Owners very friendly and approachable. Room was very clean, well decorated and comfortable. Stayed in room with balcony which was ideal for smokers, we were advised there was no problem with smoking on the balcony. Quite a walk to the marina but good to keep fit. Easy walk to the seafront. Would definitely stay again."

"Left stranded outside the hotel after staff forgot to leave keys, after confirming directly with the hotel manager that we would be arriving late. We never were able to use our reservation and did not stay after paying in full. I called earlier in the day to confirm, and they gave me the lockbox location and code, but upon arrival by taxi (after midnight) there were no keys in the box, leaving us alone outside with no car. I’ve requested a refund from the hotel but they have not responded - I...
