The house was a charming vestige of times gone by that are still very much with us. While unassuming, it offers anything and everything you seek for to spend some lovely time at the best beach in the world. Everything that you need — a place to keep good company and the beach — is right here. If you are particular about cooking, I’d suggest you bring your own cooking utensils. But the Japanese dishes will make your dishes shine. Wonderful location and a very comfortable home. Thank you for sharing your hospitality!

This was a most relaxing vacation home to stay in. Easy walk to the beach. This time of the year was very peaceful, not crowded at all. Wonderful restaurants in the area. If I’m back in the area again will definitely check on availability!Terri

The place was great, and we had a great stay. It was a little windy while we were there, so having the deck was really nice. Had some great local seafood too. Would stay there again!

The property is located on the beach and offers a deck and porch which makes enjoying the view wonderful. All the beach chairs there are old and rusted. The dog washing station is a nice touch, but the knob is broken off the hose. The grill is charcoal only. The house needs renovation. We had a wonderful time despite these unfortunate concerns

The location was perfect. Beach access easy and as described. Property mgrs were great providing window units when the a/c went out. The house had been cleaned but it needs a deep cleaning. Lots of marks and smudges, dirty oven and some pans not usable, broken and worn blinds. It has so much potential. This could be a real gem!! Like the pics!!

Loved the house, the location. Unfortunately for us neighbors in a 3 story next to us were trying to relive their college years with loud, drunken parties that ran to the legal limit of 11 pm. The property management was top notch and very responsive to requests. We're strongly considering putting this rental in our beachfront seasonal rotation.

Nice place, comfy beds and furniture. Loved the dogs wash and the porch with a gate. Nice supplied kitchen. Loved having beach chairs to use instead of bringing from home. We will definitely keep on our list of places to stay in Oak Island.

this is the perfect beach house with amazing views. It is in a good location to some outstanding restaurants. The view is worth it on the porch overlooking the ocean. Just a few steps to the beach and fur baby friendly. James was great with communication. The home is updated and very clean. We hope to return again soon!

This was a great property, well stocked with needed items to have fun in the water and clean and cook fish, plus the dog wash station! Great communication with property manager.

This house has an amazing location. The beach access is perfect-as well as the porch. The house has a great kitchen and plenty of space for a family to sit at the table. We did have issues with the sand driveway-it was hard to get in and out of. We also noticed that the house could have been a little cleaner upon our arrival. It is an older house and does lack some basic amenities (closets, pantry, etc.) otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and loved Oak Island!

Lovely beach cottage with updated kitchen, nicely stocked. We loved the porch and porch furniture for some of the most beautiful and relaxing views of the beach! It also had a gate so the dogs good relax there with us. Inside, some of the furniture good be updated but just a few pieces. Dining room table was nice and large for meals and games. We couldn't get 2 of the bedroom TV's to work but we didn't go to the beach to watch TV so not a big deal for us. So happy to find a place where the dogs could come with us! Perfect week!
